Great way to experience the town. We knew going in that the allotted 3 hours is a bit rush for us at Shiragawago and 45 minutes at Gokoyama as we are the type of tourists that like to take our time But we only have one day, so joining the tour is an efficient way for us to visit the two towns. In addition, the tour guide provided invaluable information and she is wonderful. Joining the tour took a lot of logistics off our plate. We highly recommend it.This tour took all the work out of getting from a-b-c and we saw all the main sights we wanted. The area is immensely beautiful. I wished we could have had a longer stop in Anoikura. Tour guide was helpful.

Unexpected bonus: the folk music sang on the busGood way to get to know both ShirakAwa-go and Ainokura villages. The bus is comfortable and the guide is knowledgeable. Make sure you get to the station before the departure time, we missed it by two minutes and had to catch up with the tour in taxi!
