We had the fortune of engaging Madina as a guide during our Bukhara trip. We enjoyed every minute of the time we spent listening to her explaining with passion about the history of the city. She is witty and has great command over English and philology. So what you get is a real brain-tickling interaction and not a practiced set of spiel. She is very very knowledgeable about her city, giving you very enriching experience. She set very high standard for rest of our Uzbek visit and no one came close to her standards in other cities. We wish we could have engaged her for our entire Uzbekistan tour. I will recommend to hire her blindly, you will have the best experience. Hire her soon as I am sure she is destined for bigger things than remaining a tourist guide !Knowledgeable, professional guide who tailored our time according to my specific requests and considerations. Generally I prefer to visit monuments and towns by myself reading book guides in order to dedicate more or less time to each single thing to see according to my interest... but the decision to hire a professional guide in Bukhara was really the best decision of my trip in Uzbekistan! Shokhrukh (but "Sho" is easier to remember) was very well prepared and with a huge knowledge of the heritage and history of his amazing country. The level of English was very professional like his preparation on Bukhara and beyond. I appreciated a lot the flexibility of Sho that picked me up in Bukhara Airport in the morning and dropped me off in Bukhara Train Station in the afternoon after the interested tour. Sho was able to target the tour according to my timing and preference. The price is absolutely worth Sho's amazing experience, knowledge and kindness.
