Sabastein and Esteban greatest tour guides. The waterfall beautiful and seeing the sloths was a great experience. I would highly recommend to do at least once.

This tour includes a lot, it will be an almost full day. It is a private tour so more pricey, but definitely worth it to have your own driver and guide. We had the pleasure of Sebastian and Victor’s company during this trip. They pulled over many times to show us the wildlife you would not see if driving around on your own - lots of types of birds (it shames me to admit that the only name I remember is the toucan, even though they pointed out MANY different birds - blue, red, small, pink ones, big ones). They also stopped on the side of the road to show us a sloth in a tree! They both have a good eye for these things and you definitely won’t miss out on the wildlife with them. This was just on the drive to our destination. I haven’t even gotten to the actual tour yet. The driver was very safe. We first stopped at Parque National Volcan Tenorio to hike to the beautiful blue Rio Celeste waterfall. The hike is not that bad, about an hour, lots of stairs at the end descending to the waterfall area. We had the option of hiking further to other spots, however it was raining pretty bad and we were soaked despite our ponchos. We decided not to continue since it was raining and the likelihood of seeing anything at the viewpoint was slim given the cloud cover. It is okay though, because the hike and waterfall were great enough. Please note: you cannot swim at Rio Celeste waterfall, but they will give you the option of swimming in another area if you choose to. Our next stop was Arbol de la Paz, which is a great big magnificent tree on the side of the road which is pretty hidden so you may miss it if not on this tour. We next had the choice to eat or continue on. This is what’s nice about this private tour, you are on “your time” and have the choice to change the itinerary. Our lunch place was delicious!! Traditional Costa Rican food that was very tasty, and the service was friendly. I will say the horchata I ordered is the best I’ve ever had. I wish I remember the name of the restaurant. Next stop was sloths! We were taken to Spring Paradise in Bijagua. The host Brandon is very knowledgeable and friendly. We saw many sloths, one that was active, and a baby too. We also saw the red poison dart frog, and many birds. We were hoping to see a Tapir but I think they are more active at nighttime. He also let us try many of the fruits growing in the area. On the way back they stopped at the grocery store per our request. Private tours are the best!Sebastian & Victor were excellent, knowledgeable tour guides not only for the waterfalls & sloths expedition but they picked up/dropped off all 10 of us from the airport and made us feel entirely welcome! Sebastian & Victor were excellent, knowledgeable tour guides not only for the waterfalls & sloths expedition but they picked up/dropped off all 10 of us from the airport and made us feel entirely welcome! They picked us up promptly everyday for the work we had to do and made everyday enjoyable. They could easily answer all of curious little questions and made us feel like Costa Rica was our home too. I would highly recommend them and their staff! Great job, Guys!I can’t say enough about all the workers with 506 Transfers. I can’t say enough about all the workers with 506 Transfers. From the first day they picked the 7 of us up at Liberia airport for a private shuttle to Tamarindo (Victor and Sebastian) we knew we had made the right choice. They handled 3 excursions for us as well- waterfall And Sloth tour with a hike through the rainforest- all guided by Victor, adrenaline and relaxation (horseback up the mountain to amazing zip line and then relaxing with a volcanic mud bath and heated pools and then came the monkeys for quite a show!). They also set up private surfing lessons for us! We felt that everything was an excellent value and the service was exceptional. Victor even took GREAT pictures the whole time! On the last day we were picked up by Guido and Sebastian for the private shuttle back to the airport. There is NO DOUBT we will ONLY use 506 Tours the next time we come to Tamarindo. Note- being from the US with almost no knowledge of Spanish- we greatly appreciated their knowledge of the English language. Trust me- use them for all of your activities and you will not be disappointed !Reliable.Respecful. Responsible. Reliable.Respecful. Responsible. The owner and son of Transfers 506 took great care of me and my family while vacationing in Tamarindo, Costa Rica. Communication was great and we felt very safe while they took us on a tour to La Fortuna. They we’re with us the entire tour and were very knowledgeable of área. They also transported us to/from airport. My sister missed her flight and had to land in San Jose, and thank goodness for Transfers 506, they quickly found her a ride to her destination. Their transportation vehicles are very clean and air conditioned. They’re always stocked with a cooler with cold food beverages and snacks. We highly recommend them and if we are ever in the area, we will definitely be using them again. Our party of 5 (including 2 teenage girls) enjoyed the day!
