Took this tour as I only had 1 free day. Picked up at 8 am at the hotel by Bruno the guide and after collecting other passengers we headed straight to the statue of Christ the Redeemer. Bruno was pleasant and knowledgeable. He kept everyone on track and switched effortlessly between Portuguese and English. The trip included the football stadium, sugarloaf mountain, the cathedral and lunch. There was one stop-off at the site of the carnival competition site which should be dropped as it really wasn't very interesting or even well presented. We also visited some local tiled steps which were interesting but boy, was it crowded. However overall this was an ideal trip for one day, enough to get information and a general understanding of Rio. I'd recommend it.It was a great tour, our tour guide Ronald and driver did an excellent job from start to finish. Highly recommended.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. Our tour guide Antonio R. left us at the buffet while we were paying our bill. When we called the customer service number provided the gentleman couldn’t speak English. Our guide never cared to do a head count before leaving and as a result almost left another couple earlier on our trip. To make matters worse when our driver turned around to pick us up he pointed in a random direction smiling saying “oh we were just down at xxx hotel” like we were supposed to know where they went to drop passengers off. Do whatever you can to avoid this tour unless you enjoy being stranded. They are very unprofessional and you are out of luck if your driver decides to leave you. Very careless.
