What to expect
In the middle of the Golden Circle you'll find the glacier river Hvítá which forms the Gullfoss waterfall. A few miles downstream we offer a river rafting adventure! Come join Arctic Rafting for a classic Iceland experience in the beautiful Icelandic nature.

If you are into some action while visiting Iceland, you definitetly should take a trip to the Arctic Rafting action. Suitable for Big & Little this is a very nice adventure in the pure nature of the river Hvítá, that drops from the giant waterfall Gullfoss (located at the Golden Circle). The guides who are with you in a boat make it an secure and absoultely fun event. At one spot you can jump off a rock approx. 6 meters into the river, if you dare to. After the adventure you can relax in the hot pots/sauna at the nice base camp and have a meal/snack and drink. The team is the same as in the boats and it is very friendly.Thank you so much Arctic Rafting for a wonderful experience with my 76 years old mama TODAY !! Loved how to see the team doing everything personally from fetching us to / from Reykjavik to Drumbó River base, getting us ready and driving big group of us to the Hvítá River starting point, fun safe...

Loved how to see the team doing everything personally from fetching us to / from Reykjavik to Drumbó River base, getting us ready and driving big group of us to the Hvítá River starting point, fun safety briefing, and of course the exciting rafting journey through the lovely canyon is far more beautiful than expected they also cook our delicious meals, OH we had the best Lamb BBQ here ! Definitely Must have and must do in Iceland !! This activity is clearly underrated !! Our expert guides with his team are superb ! They were all looking after mama very carefully Grateful !Excellent rafting experience. Super friendly staff, very relaxed atmosphere and great food. Thanks a lot to our guide Anil who made this a lot of fun.

Thanks a lot to our guide Anil who made this a lot of fun.It was awesome experience and would highly recommend it. We were all fitted out with wet suit, boots, helmets and life vest. Never was cold. They were very safety conscious and went over everything to ensure everyone understood. It was so much fun, I would do it again in a heartbeat!!!!! Jim T.

Good company. The only remark : no good communication what to wear. Take a bathing suit with you! And a polar pullover.
