Dr. Fun is legit! Delton- our driver and tour guide picked us up right on time at our resort. He started off welcoming us with songs and riddles and the kids just loved him! Dr. Fun is legit! Delton- our driver and tour guide picked us up right on time at our resort. He started off welcoming us with songs and riddles and the kids just loved him! We picked up more family at a different resort...Delton told us about different areas we traveled through and some history of Jamaica- great conversation and drive up to the Blue Hole. At the Blue Hole- our guide Javier was CRAZY Amazing! We had 4 adults and 4 kids in our group (kids ages ranged from 8-16). Felt safe and well cared for the entire time. Jumped off of the water fall, and other high jumps- all kids were/are good swimmers, no problem. Our guide Javier, was right there to help us through- he also showed off his diving skills- impressive! From there, it was on to the White River for some tubing. We had two great guides, Raphael and Jason- they were so great with our kids!!!! They sang, and made sure we stayed afloat and happy! 5 stars for this trip!!!! Dr. Fun picked up our group of 11 from our cruise ship and the fun started! He gave us historical information and sang a crazy song on our ride to the Blue Hole. We were able to leave our belongings in his van after he turned us over to our private guide for the Blue Hole, Javier. Javier was amazing! One of our ladies was 80 years old and Javier carried her across some parts of the river so that she could participate with our group. He took pictures, made sure we were safe all along the way, and even did a high dive for our entertainment. The Blue Hole was fantastic. Lots of falls and pools that were beautiful. Then back to Dr. Fun and his van for the trip down to Calypso Rafting. Our guides for the rafting experience, Dwight and Damien, kept us safe and entertained. The river had a few rapids but nothing too hard for our group of "older" folks to enjoy. We stopped half way down to enjoy a beverage and get some information from the guides. Dr. Fun met us at our stopping point and gave us a fun ride back to ship. Everything was perfect from start to finish!! Thank you, Dr. Fun!176-25

We decided to give Dr. Fun a shot after reading so many fantastic reviews on Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed. From the beginning, we had great lines of communication through email, deposit was made via PayPal, and Dr. Fun sent a follow up email a few days before our excursion to remind us ...
We decided to give Dr. Fun a shot after reading so many fantastic reviews on Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed. From the beginning, we had great lines of communication through email, deposit was made via PayPal, and Dr. Fun sent a follow up email a few days before our excursion to remind us on timing and what we needed to bring with us for the day. We were a group of 9. 5 adults, 2 teens, one 11 year old, and one 6 year old. Dr. Fun helped us decide which excursions would be best given our wide range of ages. We selected the Blue Hole and the Calypso River Tubing. Pick up was perfectly smooth and on-time. Dr. Fun was awesome with our family from the first moment we met. The Blue Hole was an incredible experience that we will remember forever. The river tubing was fun also. Afterwards, we made an unscheduled stop at Scotchies for some jerk pork and chicken, which was a cool experience (try the Festivals!). We then stopped at another spot where Dr. Fun picked up a few traditional sweet potato desserts (can't remember the name) but they were also fantastic. We can't recommend Dr. Fun highly enough. He was truly a pleasure to meet and we will certainly hire him again next time we are in Jamaica.KylalaRae

Wow! We are so happy that we booked with Dr. Fun! From the moment he picked us up at our resort in Runaway Bay, I knew we were in good hands - on time, well dressed, polite, clean vehicle. My husband can be uncomfortable in new situations, but Dr Fun quickly put us both at ease. It was nice to be on a private tour with such a knowledgeable guide. Thanks to Delton we had the most memorable Valentine’s Day ever! We arrived at the Blue Hole early in the morning before any other tourists, and his guy Javier lead us up the falls & pools even leaving us alone to swim in a gorgeous blue lagoon for a few minutes! On the way down we did a few jumps, always feeling safe, and never pressured out of our comfort zone! After the Blue Hole we went Bamboo River Rafting on the White River. Again we were there without any other tourists! We enjoyed more information about plants as we peacefully drifted along. The river meets the ocean at a little sand bar where we stopped for a minute. I quickly realized that we were in very safe hands with Dr Fun and “his people” along the way! On another day we also did a trip to the Blue Mountains to a family owned coffee farm. This trip is not for the faint of heart (or those too nervous about heights)! It is a long drive over many roads and bridges in dire need of maintenance, but again, I cannot stress how safe I felt with Delton (even 4,000ft up with no guard rails). Delton made the drive enjoyable with so much information, stops for pictures and a lovely coconut treat! The owners of the coffee farm graciously let us wander the building & property, and fed us a great local meal (gathered fresh from the garden that morning). The coffee was, of course, some of the best I ever had, and we headed home with a bag of beans. I will recommend Dr. Fun (Delton) and his services to everyone I know who comes to Jamaica and I will hopefully see him again when we come back!turner3027

We booked our trip through Marvyn’s Paradise Tours. When we arrived they already had a guide setup to take us through each excursion. Captain Alex helped us through the blue hole. He took our water proof video camera (make sure you bring one) and video taped us the entire time. He was wonderful!! When we we went rafting they had another guide there for us (I think his name was Nathan). We had so much fun! If you are looking for a tour guide to take you through these and want to feel safe and have fun Marvyn’s Paradise Tours is the way to go!Adam S
