We spent two fun and insightful days with Thomas. The first day was a trip from Malaga to Ronda where we walked the sites and were greeted by a private guide specializing in Ronda who explained the history of the region, the architecture, and landscape. We also toured the bullfighting ring. We had a lovely lunch overlooking the gorge and stopped on the way back to Malaga to view Gibraltar from afar. The second day we drove to La Alhambra where we met another private guide specializing in the history of this amazing ancient city. Thomas thoughtfully packed us lunch and following the tour, drove us to a location across from La Alhambra so we could get some amazing pictures. He also suggested we stop at a local pottery maker where we picked up some gifts. The service was excellent and we can't imagine joining a group tour after the personalized attention we received from Thomas and his associates. We learned so much about the region, its culture and history on each of our drives from Thomas as well.Did our family trip to Ronda on New Year’s Eve. Did our family trip to Ronda on New Year’s Eve. One of the best tour experiences during our entire Spain trip! Our guide Peter picked up us on time from Malaga. The drive to Ronda is about one and half hours. Peter chatted about local towns and cultures along the way, making it very relaxing and informative. When we arrived at Ronda, another guide Antonio joined our group. Antonio is very knowledgeable about the history and culture of this amazing city. We strolled in slow pace and covered new town, old town and the famous bridge connecting in between. We also did the bull ring tour in the beautiful Plaza de Toros. After that we had a wonderful lunch at one of the best restaurants in town with the gorge view which Peter had reserved for us. For the rest of the afternoon we walked further along the gorge before heading back to Malaga. Beautiful weather, professional and knowledgeable guide, and an amazing small city with rich history and culture, all make this a memorable family trip!4 was a great trip. We had Perter as our driver and guide. He was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and easy going. He arrived at our hotel on time and we reached Ronda on time for our walk through. Views at Ronda were stunning. It’s a must do while visiting south Spain.

Peter was our "tour guide" from downtown Malaga to the center of Ronda. During the 90- minute trip to Ronda Peter answered our numerous questions regarding the the Malaga/Ronda region. Upon our arrival at Ronda, Peter introduced us to our Ronda tour guide -- Leah, who was born and has lived most of her life in Ronda. She is intimately knowledgeable of the history of Ronda and is full of both historical and contemporary stories of life in Ronda. Peter accompanied us on our tour with Leah; when it came to lunchtime he made a reservation for us a restaurant that sits right off the "New Bridge" and has views that can only be described as "spectacular". He then drove us to a location at the bottom of the gorge that provided a great photo opportunity. If you are looking to tour Ronda, I strongly recommend Peter as your guide. He also knows most of the region surrounding Malaga.THIS IS AN OUTSTANDING TOUR. WE HAD A GUIDE AND A SEPARATE DRIVER.. WHEN WE GOT TO RHONDA THERE WAS AN ADDITIONAL GUIDE.
