We had a very enjoyable tour with MAK, who was very informative and took us to the tunnel museum and showed us all around the old city as well as showing us the places from the hills from where Snipers kept the city under siege. Mak is great tour guide and a wonderful human being. We most enjoyed hearing his own stories of his life and his family during and after the war. We also purchased his book on Yugo-nostalgia. We also took a second tour with Mak and enjoyed that very much. Thanks again to Mak and his colleagues for a wonderful overview of Sarajevo, a city which stays in our hearts forever.Mac was great at making everyone in the tour feel comfortable to explore such a hard hitting subject of the Bosnian war. Mac was great at making everyone in the tour feel comfortable to explore such a hard hitting subject of the Bosnian war. We learned so much of Sarajevo and Mac’s personal anecdotes made it very personal. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Sarajevo. We also then did the copper smithing workshop which was fantastic as well as the free walking tour which was very personalised and we learned so much from it. 100% recommend them, you will walk away with brilliant memories and many valuable lessons. In this tour we learned about history, people, culture, religions and many other things of Sarajevo and Bosnia and Herzegovina. This was the tour that offered us a completely different view of Sarajevo - not only visiting the places that are hard to reach on your own, but also symbolically speaking: the tour guide Mak has amazing skills and excellent knowledge, so he is able to join all the important historic facts and present them in a smooth story, refering to places and areas we were either driving by or observing on the spots. There was also some amount of free time to observe on our own and Mak was always willing to answer all the questions - even more triggering. And as a local and an expert, he is, of course, full of advice and recommendations for further stay in the city. Rich and greatly prepared content, a comfortably organised tour and sincere and professional staff are the reasons we recommend this guided tour.By car and with a tour-guide you can explore and feel the city of sarajevo the convenience way.. By car and with a tour-guide you can explore and feel the city of sarajevo the convenience way.. Not only for visiting former wartime-places but also to see the present city itself. A good way to see what could be watched and visited later alone after the tour. - concerning the siege or present sights. Tour-guide Mak was kindly. Not talking political on and on while driving to the different spots itself. He was asking questions and was giving informations to the spots after arrving them. No chance to reach all the sights all around of Sarajevo by public bus or tram. 26 Euro for the tour was ok.Very personal and open tour - covered all of Sarajevo and gave a really good insight into the issues still facing Bosnia…. Well worth it
