Our experience with Alpaca Expeditions was incredible. Jaime was our guide, and took us on the "Super Sacred Valley" tour. Our tour was canceled on the first day due to strikes, but Jaime still took us out for day 2 and fit as much as possible into one day. All of the main roads were still closed, but he took us through back mountain roads to ensure that we were still able to experience the Sacred Valley. We were the only tour group to do so. We had every site to ourselves, and it was absolutely incredible. Despite the strikes (and a bit of off-roading), he also made us feel safe and secure the entire time. He also stayed with us an extra night to take us to Machu Picchu, even waiting for us at the train station. Jaime had the answer to every single question that we asked (and we asked a lot!) I can't even begin to explain how knowledgable he was - we spent 3 hours at Machu Picchu alone, learning all about the Incan culture and history. Incredible experience and can't say enough positive things. If you're planning a trip to Peru - plan as many tours with Alpaca as possible!
