This trip was so beautiful. Sailing to the island was fun! Our Captain was very welcoming and so polite.Be prepared to get wet while sailing to the island. It's a good idea to wear a hat but make sure it's on tight so you don't lose it to the sea. When you arrive at Les Saintes, it is really wonderful. The island is lightly inhabited and there are sailboats of all varieties moored nearby. It's such a charming area.We were able to see a cruise ship called The Star Clipper with 5 masts which was huge sand had 25 sails! While the water was cool (it was December) it was still good for snorkeling without use of a wet suit. The fish and coral were very cool and the depth ranged from 30 meters to just meters with plenty of fish and coral in both. Afterward we shared rum, sausages, Marlin rillettes and crackers, and chicken Colombo with rice (and dessert and coffee!). We then sailed to the village and saw others snorkeling a shipwreck nearby. Although we didn't snorkel there, the second place was also going to of fish and lovely. The sail back at sunset was one of the most beautiful things I've experienced. The Captain even allowed us to steer the boat back for a while! We also had the chance for rum and chocolate and biscuits/cookies on the way back. While we had a group who spoke English and French, we we're fortunate in that regard. Although our Captain did not speak English, nothing we did really REQUIRED is to know French beyond the initial form asking whether we can swim (nager) and whether we were okay with having pictures of our trip shared publicly (pub). We simply wrote "O" for oui for both. This was my first trip to a real sailing village and the entire trip was worth it. I would recommend it to anyone. Plan on it taking all day and enjoy it!Wow, what a day out on the water in beautiful Guadeloupe. Wow, what a day out on the water in beautiful Guadeloupe. One could not ask for better, the company was great, the skipper/guide was excellent and the tour itself was amazing. My wife and I along with our good friends booked this outing with a small amount of hesitation wondering if we would be booking a trip on the infamous party boat with loud music and drunken teenagers. We were very pleasantly surprised when we met Woody and his wonderful family who we gelled with immediately. Our host/skipper/guide Olivier was so professional in his task and ensured we really enjoyed our day and remained safe all the time. The food he served at lunch time was delicious and all snacks were very tasty too. Then to top it off Olivier served us up his own concoction of traditional drinks, mmmh, very good. We would definitely recommend this trip to all.We are a couple in our late 50s. We were joined by 3 other couples in their 20s amd 30s. The boat is very nice as were the other couples! We are a couple in our late 50s. We were joined by 3 other couples in their 20s amd 30s. The boat is very nice as were the other couples! The captain Olivier was fantastic. He is an expert sailor, cook and conversation maker. The bay he took us to snorkel was beautiful and interesting as it also had a sunken ship there. After snorkeling we were served a variety of homemade rum and fruit punches, appetizers and a curry turkey dish w rice for lunch. He also accommodated vegetarians amongst the group. On the way back we were all offered a chance to steer the boat if we desired. Wonderfull day so glad we had this experience! May not be the best for old out of shape individuals. My husband, daughter and I took this trip and couldn’t fault it in any way Captain Olivier was great, sail was fab and lunch good. The cocktails were knockout, they nearly knocked me out! Definitely a highlight of our holiday, just do it, have fun

When we saw the advert at the marina, we decided immediately to go to Les Saintes by sailing boat and mailed to Olivier and Sonia in the evening. They answered the same day. The information prior to the appointment is formulated clearly. Although we knew, what we could expect, we were surprised in some kind: We had a great sunshine day with a few raindrops on the way back, a delicious lunch with drinks on deck, impressive views when snorkeling, nice fellows and a cheerful skipper, catering for good mood. It was the best day during our holidays on Guadeloupe. Merci Olivier!
