In spite of a last-minute booking, the trip was well organised, to the detail: transfers, high-speed train tickets, availability of the agent to answer any questions, at all times. But the star of this content-rich programme was my guide in Samarkand, Amira. She was not only very knowledgeable about every subject relevant to the 27 century-old history of this great city, but she kept the tour interesting by sharing information, legends and local tales one cannot find in Wikipedia or British Library! I was in Tashkent for work and Izzat booked a one-day side trip to Samarkand the afternoon before. Very easy process, great tour with very pleasant guide and driver, who made the visit effortless and insightful. Our guide even arranged a climb to the top of a minaret in the Registan, which is not part of the regular tour (for a modest extra charge): the view is magnificent and should not be missed, as long as you're comfortable climbing 52 steep steps! The high-speed train is clean and efficient. Overall a very satisfying experience. I'd like to work with this company again to visit Bukhara and Khiva. An absolutely amazing experience.
