Great experience! Our guide Collin was very knowledgeable and shared lots of info about the area. The bike ride was pretty amazing, especially since it was just my husband, 2 teenagers and myself. I could only do about a third of the ride. I was tired but mostly I was too nervous. The trail is rolling which my kids loved but I thought the hills were pretty steep and I wasn't confident biking down them. It was a strenuous ride. I rode in the car most of the ride which was still amazing. There was a problem with one of the bikes. They apologized and only charged for 3. Collin took us to see the Salton sea and other extra places. We had yummy shakes at Shields, a date store. I think Collin felt bad about the bike mishap so he showed us all the Hollywood homes in the area which was neat. My family really enjoyed the day! Ask for Collin.Liked best Hearing about and seeing the sthe geology. Also liked learning about the dessert plants and how the Indians them. Disappointed, we just missed getting our date shake, it was closed when got there. Jeff was our guide. Personable and knowledgeable ,humorous at times.

Did the jeep tour around Andreas Fault with my husband and our son. Captain Ron was a wonderful guide! He had a wide array of knowledge that covered all our questions from history, plants, wildlife, geology. He was very fun to spend an afternoon with. Even recommended two hikes we did over the next two days; Hidden Valley at Joshua Tree and The Ladders near where we we toured. Loved them both! Even saw a fox driving back from ladders. Thank you!Walking thru cuts to gain view, seeing the variations in formations, getting up and down some steep off road
