It was easy and effortless. Salva knew exactly what he was doing and gave us enough "freedoms" to make the experience ours. I cannot recommend him enough.

He’s the perfect guy to contact if you’re feeling nervous about exploring the country on your own & want to have an adventure of a lifetime.

My girl friend and I came down from the states to meet in some what of a travel group. Salva and his team took the best care of the 12 of us. Showing us how safe his country has become and how it got there and all of the beautiful sights and history. From the Santa Ana valvano to down town San Salvador and everywhere in between. First off I would like to start this review by saying what a shame it is that El Salvador has a reputation for being dangerous or unsafe. I have never met such kind people and was never once even the slightest bit unsure of my safety. From walking around downtown San Salvador to ambling about other various villages and towns I could have walked around by myself at any time of day or night and felt completely comfortable. Such a great place! Such a great place! I met Salva, the owner and one of the tour guides of Tunco Life, for the first time about a week ago. He picked me and a group of friends up from the El Salvador airport and from then on throughout the entire next week everything was flawless! From the transportation to the meals, to the many activities we did such as the Santa Ana volcano hike, indigo dying workshops, city tours, surf lessons, and more. It was all absolutely flawless! I could not have asked for anything more if I were to have stayed at a five-star resort paying thousands of dollars. That’s how you know somebody is good is when they make something look so easy. There was never any chaos or hastiness. Salva and the entire Tunco Life crew exceeded my expectations tenfold. One friend in our group had their luggage destroyed somewhere along the way on their flight, and was without clothes or any other supplies when she got in. Salva made it a priority to get her what she needed and brought her into town to get luggage and anything else she needed without ever interrupting the flow of the adventure. Many other people ran into challenges also along the way needing things like inhalers, sunscreen, clothes, snacks, money, and other various things. Salva never once said no, and catered to literally every need of every individual on the trip without ever skipping a beat. He was never stressed, never hesitated, and again never interrupted the flow of anything! I cannot speak highly enough of Salva and Tunco life. Absolutely amazing trip! Such a friendly guy, super professional, super laid-back, and extremely knowledgeable of everything El Salvador. It’s very rare when your expectations are exceeded, and yet he managed to do so. Much love forever and ever to my brother and his crew down at Tunco Life. Thank you for such an amazing experience! The owner of Tunco Life, Salva, is the person who personally drived us from Tunco Beach to the volcano.
