Oia is one of the most important villages of the island of Santorini. Situated at the northest part of the island, Oia is the spot with the most famous sunset and iconic Caldera view.

Blue Dome with the three bells is situated in Firostefani village. Everyday, hundreds of tourists visit this place in order to take some amazing photos at one of the most iconic spot on the island.

Stop At: Monastery of Profitis Ilias, Epar. Od. Pirgou Kallistis 3 km from Pyrgo Thira, Moni Profitou Ilia, Moni Profitou Iliou 847 00 Greece
Profitis Ilias is the highest spot of the island of Santorini almost above sea level. HereI, you can have an amazing 360 view, understand the topography of the place and take some extraordinary panoramic photos.

Akrotiri Lighthouse is located on the extreme southwest part of the island, 18 kilometers away from the capital of Santorini. It is considered one of the first lighthouses in Greece (dated since 1892) and one of the best and most beautiful lighthouses in the whole Cyclades.

The Red Beach in Akrotiri, situated at the southest part of the islandisland, is maybe the only red volcanic beach around the world. This unique place is the result of a series of geological phenomena that occured during the past centuries. This volcanic scenery will definately amaze you!

Vlychada Beach stands out for the overwhelming carved cliffs that look like a sculptor’s work. However, this is a result of a natural process owed to the volcano, the wind and the sea. Vlychada Beach is unique among the beaches of Santorini for its stunning lunar landscape that enchants all visitors. It is without any doubt the most atmospheric beach you can find in the whole island.

Perivilos Beach is the most cosmopolitan and lively beach resort in Santorini. The beach has got deep sparkling waters and is covered in black lava sand. It is a long, well-organized beach with a plethora of facilities. Ideal combination of entertainement and relaxation, the Black Beach of Perivolos can literally meet any desire or need.

My wife and I traveled to Santorini in May 2022 to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. During our stay at the island we initially met Tasos at the airport where he picked us up and took us on an excellent 4 hour history tour of the island. We visited several historic sites on the island and had a wonderful time. Tasos speaks excellent English and this made the conversation very easy as I asked him numerous questions about the Greek culture and the island. We had such a great time with Santos that we booked him for the 5 hr highlights tour. Tasos took us to several great locations on the island during the tour and each one made my jaw drop. What was also really nice is Tasos is he is always superb attentive to our needs and provided drinks and drove very safe allowing us to enjoy our travels. We also went at an excellent pace and took a few breaks along the way from the walking. After visiting several sites we finished the evening with dinner and had the best Greek food we have eaten so far. It was all the better because Tasos ate with us and was able to give us the history of several dishes we ate. Nothing is quite like enjoying the local food with someone who knows what dishes to choose. Sorry for the long review. But we spent 9 hours with Tasos and got to know him really well. I wish we could take him to Athens with us. He really made our visit to Santorini the best it could be and we will miss the island and our new friend Tasos.crystallc2019

Our tour with Tasos was the highlight of our honeymoon. My husband and I did not have time to plan our honeymoon because we were busy with our wedding so when we got to Santorini, we thought we’d book a tour through Airbnb so we can see all of the island. I knew I “had” to see the sunset in Oia (tip: do not do this. It’s incredibly crowded) and a handful of other experiences. In comes Tasos—we booked a private tour with him and it was incredible. After speaking with Tasos about our expectations, we developed a game plan that fit our needs and also took all of his recommendations and we were not disappointed. He knew almost everyone on the island and it felt special to go around with him. I’ve done quite a bit of traveling in Southwest Asia and know how the private tour agencies work (who gets paid and where), but with Tasos, this was not the case. He knew everyone we ran across because he genuinely knew them—he either worked with them in the past or he was friends with them. He introduced us to everyone! It was so fun to meet so many locals and make connections with them. We even got photos in places in Oia that not many other people get because of Tasos’ connections. It was amazing. My biggest piece of advice in booking with Tasos: trust him. We all have a barrage of information at our fingertips from the internet and can take advice from travel influencers, bloggers, and Tik Toks; but with Tasos you get information and the experience of a Greek.L7381SJheatherr

Excellent tour. Very accommodating and knowledgeable. He always opened the door for the ladies. He was able to customize the tour to the schedule. He knew the ferries better then anyone and maximized our time on the island.
