Overview
Saona island is one of the best tour destinations when you come to Dominican Republic. You will be pick up in an air conditioned bus in the morning that will take you to the tour's terminal , then you either will go on the same bus or change to another bus to take you to Bayahibe Beach in La Romana, from there you will aboard a Catamaran that will take you to Saona Island , where you will spend time in the most beautiful tropical island you have never seen, in the afternoon you will aboard a Speed Boat that will take you to a natural pool then back to Bayahibe Beach where you will aboard the transportation that will take you back to Punta Cana. Dominican buffet lunch, drinks are included . you may order fish or lobster for lunch for additional fee.

The transportation to the boat took 3 hours. We were picked up at 7:15am and there were too many stops getting everyone on the bus. They need to have a central location to meet. We then stopped and got gas? What tour company stops to fill up the bus? We sat there and waited for 15 minutes for...
The transportation to the boat took 3 hours. We were picked up at 7:15am and there were too many stops getting everyone on the bus. They need to have a central location to meet. We then stopped and got gas? What tour company stops to fill up the bus? We sat there and waited for 15 minutes for a couple who got off and never got back on. We finally got on our way and then stopped again at a mall and was told it would be 15 minutes. That turned into an hour. There seemed to be confusion because different people kept getting on and off our bus. When we finally got to the boat launch area again we waited for another 30-40 minutes to leave. Once we finally boarded our boat we sat again for another 15 minutes. All and all it was a waste of over 3 hours of waiting. The speed boat was a fun ride. We stopped after about 25 minutes close to shore and got in the water where we were offered drinks. I wish we would have skipped this all together because when we got the Saona we only had 2 1/2 hours there. This was a full day excursion leaving at 7:15am and we didn't get dropped off until 6;00pm and we only got a short time at the island out of that whole time. The island was gorgeous, food was very good. The catamaran trip back was fun as well with dancing but the whole point for me was spending time at a beautiful island. They should have been way better organized! This wasn't their first rodeo!Paradise280863

Escogimos Punta Cana para celebrar mis 50 cumpleaños mi esposo y yo, fue una experiencia maravillosa, Santo Domingo es un país maravilloso, su gente, su alegría es contagiosa, los hombres en particular son muy graciosos y ocurrentes, escogimos esta excursión pq nos gusta mucho el turismo de Sol y Playa, y no pudimos haber hecho mejor elección, ya llevamos una semana aquí en los Estados Unidos y aun seguimos recordando lo bien que la pasamos, el chófer que nos recogió y llevó de vueltas al Hotel Magestic Mirage que era donde estábamos hospedados Luis Disla Diaz es de lo mejor que te puedas encontrar, que carisma, que profesionalismo, que manera de hacerte reír y llorar a la vez de tanta risa, me imagino que en su casa todo sea una diversión porque con una persona así en casita le hace la vida alegre a cualquiera, Valdez también un chico que a su corta edad es muy profesional y responsable, al tener en sus manos la responsabilidad de tantas vidas en un autobús tan grandes, con unas calles tan angostas y lo bien que lo supo manejar, sigue así Campeón, nuestros respetos para ti y nunca dejes de luchar por tus sueños que algún dia lo lograrás, tmbn para la tripulación de el catamaran y el barco que hicieron que nuestra estancia en las 4 playas, Blue Lagoon, Playa del Toro, Isla Saona y la Playa Natural, y para José nuestro guía nuestras felicitaciones también. Nous avons réalisé cette excursion en mai 2019 je pense que de toutes les excursions que nous avons pu faire c'est celle qui présentait le meilleur rapport qualité-prix. En effet, une journée complète avec un départ à 7h30 et un retour à 18h30 avec le repas, les transferts, l'excursion, le bateau...
Nous avons réalisé cette excursion en mai 2019 je pense que de toutes les excursions que nous avons pu faire c'est celle qui présentait le meilleur rapport qualité-prix. En effet, une journée complète avec un départ à 7h30 et un retour à 18h30 avec le repas, les transferts, l'excursion, le bateau rapide, les animations sur le catamaran qui étaient raisonnables, les temps libres, les boissons, la piscine naturelle. Attention on risque de vous mettre des objets dans les mains comme si c'était "inclus" et de vous demander de les payer 30 min après. Je conseille vraiment de prendre un masque et un tuba dans votre sac à dos, vous pourrez mieux profiter de la piscine naturelle et du temps sur la plage : nous avons pu voir des très joli poissons, une raie et des étoiles de mer.Juliupokus252525

Par où commencer ? Transfert depuis Punta cana 2h...et oui on fait le grand tour pour ramasser tout le monde.. 2h de catamaran avec rhum coca à volonté.. Mais c'est tout pas d'eau ni de collaboration Arrivée à Saona avec un buffet très limité, les 2 langoustes en option à 60$(arnaque) sont clai...

Mais c'est tout pas d'eau ni de collaboration Arrivée à Saona avec un buffet très limité, les 2 langoustes en option à 60$(arnaque) sont clairement dégueulasses. Le poisson du buffet à donné une turista magistrale à ma flemme(j'en ai pas mangé donc épargné) Retour à Bayahibe, pas d'eau, pas de collation et 2h30 pour rentrer à l'hôtel. Une honte je vous dit. L'île est magnifique certe, mais d'une saleté rarement vue. Piqûres de puce de sable à gogo. Bref, choisissez une autre compagnie si vraiment vous voulez y aller. Derniers points , le bateau rapide plus que dangereux avec pilote débutant. Garre a votre dos. Équipe d'animation vous raquetant 5$ pour on ne sait pas quoi car l'excursion est festive de base donc compris dans le prix de départ. WC sur le catamaran sans chasse d'eau, mesdames attentions à vos parties intimes. À fuir de toute urgence, d'ailleurs les resorts ne proposent pas cette compagniejennysR5871JN

En fantastisk utflykt att göra om man är på Dominikanska Republiken. Vi åkte speed boat ut till ön med ett stop i den ”naturliga poolen” som är mer som ett jätte stort område med långgrunt vatten men det är så fantastiskt vackert och härligt. Ön är ett paradis! Maten på ön var jättegod. Tyvärr...

Vi åkte speed boat ut till ön med ett stop i den ”naturliga poolen” som är mer som ett jätte stort område med långgrunt vatten men det är så fantastiskt vackert och härligt. Ön är ett paradis! Maten på ön var jättegod. Tyvärr var det en hel del getingar vid baren men det var ingen som vi såg som blev stungen på ön. På hemvägen åkte vi katamaran 👌🏻Den delen var nog det bästa av allt.
