We took the Savor Siena tour with Rebecca in June 2013. The tour started at her lovely little shop where we started with some olive oil and wine tasting before we ventured out into the streets of Siena. While we were out, we visited a number of local speciality shops tasting cheeses, meats, sweets and coffee before returning for some more wine, chocolate and honey tasting. The tour lasted for more than two hours and we learnt a lot along the way chatting with Rebecca who we found to be extremely friendly and genuine. She seemed to have a real passion for the local food and wine and it was particularly nice for her to share the story about her family's signature wine. Overall, it was an enjoyable way to spend a morning. The Savor Siena tour was awesome! Our guide Johanna was very knowledgeable and a fantastic guide through the cuisine of Siena. Learned a lot about the wines of Tuscany, tasting and the food of the region....wonderful!!

We did the Savor Siena Walk offered by the Tuscan Wine School and a a fantastic time. First of all, we were the only ones doing the tour, as other registrants didn't show that day (good for us!) and had the lovely Sara to ourselves. She was very friendly and shared a lot of information on Siena, Tuscany and its food and wines. The tour itself was nice, as we not only got to taste food, but explore bits of the city as well. The most amazing part was the gelato tasting, as we would have never found this tiny gelateria, but found it to be the best ice cream we had ever tasted! The tour started and ended in the Tuscan Wine School which ahs a small shop where you can buy local produce. We can highly recommend this tour!My husband and I took part in the Savor Siena Tour through the Tuscan Wine School back in March. My husband and I took part in the Savor Siena Tour through the Tuscan Wine School back in March. It was a cold, wet day, and the perfect thing to do to get us out and about in Siena. Our guide, Sarah, was so friendly & knowledgable. It was just us on the tour, so it felt like we were walking around Siena with a friend, learning all about her experiences, the city's history, and the region's food culture. I would highly recommend to anyone in Siena! We enjoyed this tour with Nina. She is very impressive as speaks 8 languages and also an author! The tour was 2 hrs which was perfect and a small group so it was intimate. Also, there was wine and food along the way. Definitely would recommend this tour!
