Scuba Diving in Lanzarote (for certified divers only)
Overview
As a certified diver you will explore loads of amazing dive sites with fantastic underwater life, colourful reefs, stunning aquatic life and incredible landscapes. Since the Scuba Legends Dive Center is located in Puerto del Carmen, we are just a few minutes away from some of the best dive sites of the island.
All dive excursions are guided by our highly experienced dive guides and instructors.
Basic dive equipment as well as optional additional gear like torches, SMB & spool, wetnotes, computer can be rented at our Dive Center.
Dive sites are shore based and depend on the experience level and weather conditions.

- Try and organize equipment and complete paperwork
- Instructor briefing about dive site and planning, information on marine life, gearing up
- Playa Chica offers more than 10 different dive sites, depending on the experience level with a depth ranging from 5-40m
- Easy access walking thorough the beach or entering through stairs by the peer
- Beautiful reefs & volcanic landscape, overhangs, caverns and a an incredible underwater scenery with huge amounts of marine life from small to big :)
- Dive Excursion for certified divers has a duration of approx 45min per dive, depending on air consumption and conditions.
- Surface interval with refreshments/snack between multiple dives

- Not recommended for pregnant travelers

- You have to be a certified diver to participate. Please present your certification card (digital or printed).
- Flying within 12-18 hours after diving is not recommended
- Diving requires certain weather conditions. In the unlikely event the activity should be cancelled due to poor weather conditions, you will be offered an alternative date or full refund.
- Minimum age is 10 years
- You have to be medically fit for diving. All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions might prevent you from diving (no asthma, heart problems or other serious conditions). Please consult your doctor.
- Face masks required for travelers in public areas
- Face masks required for guides in public areas
- Hand sanitizer available to travelers and staff
- Social distancing enforced throughout experience
- Regularly sanitized high-traffic areas
- Transportation vehicles regularly sanitized
- Guides required to regularly wash hands
- Contactless payments for gratuities and add-ons
- Our qualified staff uses Covid-19 certified cleaning products only and all equipment is cleaned and disinfected after each use. We strictly follow the health & safetey protocols as required by the spanish government.
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund
- This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 4 travelers
- Confirmation will be received at time of booking

I'd like to inviting every single person who is interested with diving to diving with Scuba Legends. First, perfect contact. I have sent first mail a couple of months ago. By mails, we have prepared whole diving schedule, necessary equipment and plenty of other small things. I like that kind of organization. I was doing PADI TEC45 course so for everyone who is interested with that type of diving Scuba Legends will be a perfect solution. At the very beginning I have done few dives with Santi who is a very nice person and good dive leader. He listen divers and can adjust dive to the group needs. The main part of the course I was doing with Gery. Fantastic instructor, diver and person. Training was perfect and his methodology excellent. I didn't divie with rest of team members but I saw how they care about every diver, from the beginner to certified. I have looked closely at the equipment they provide for divers. All was brand new or almost brand new. Very well maintained and serviced. No old and stinky suits, BCDs so old that lost theirs colors etc. To finish this quite long review I'd like to say big thanks to Chantal, Gery, Santi and Max. You are fantastic bunch of people. You are running excellent dive center and with your attitude you are creating fantastic atmosphere around it. Once again BIG THANK YOU. P.S. It was a great experience! Chantal has a lot of knowledge about diving and really gave great feedback when I was in the water to get the perfect buoyancy, which made my dive experience very pleasant and relaxt! Would definitely recommend diving with them! And I will book again ;-)

It was our first Scuba diving experience, and it has been an amazing discover! Chantal explained everything so clear and teach us all the basics under the shallow water, then we went little by little to a deeper water, while Chantal was checking on us which really makes us forget about any technical part and just enjoy the scuba diving. Regarding the Center, we couldn't be happier abut them, they were super flexible on time/days and we even had the diver just for us (also the center told us the max is 4 people, which assures you that you will have a personal care) I would repeat the experience when I come back to Lanzarote for sure :)georgyd619
