Since Paris known as the city of lights, we thought it would be fun to do a Segway tour in the evening. We met our Wheels and Ways tour guide, Florian, and were pleased to learn he wasn’t canceling our tour even though it was just the two of us. Florian was fabulous. He was safety conscious the whole time, he gave us shower caps to wear under our helmets (have never been on a tour where that has happened). He took us to so many more locations than we could’ve walked to in that same time. He was informative with both the historical and current events and local architecture. Florian was friendly, respectful, and had a great sense of humor. He recommended a great restaurant where we could get authentic French cuisine (we took his advice and were not disappointed). We couldn’t have chosen a better guide. Going in the evening was really fun too. The streets were less crowed and the lights on the Eifel Tower, monuments, bridges, and buildings were beautiful. The next week we followed up our Paris tour with a segway tour in Munich from a different company and we were extremely disappointed. We realized our fortunate we were to have chosen Wheels and Ways and Florian. We look forward to our next trip to Paris and another segway tour from Wheels and Ways.I highly recommend the segway by night tour! It was my daughter's favorite thing about our trip to Paris. I highly recommend the segway by night tour! It was my daughter's favorite thing about our trip to Paris. She is still talking about how much fun she had a week later! Florian was our guide and we felt very safe the entire time. We had never ridden a segway before and I did not think I would be able to maneuver it well. However, Florian was a great instructor and I felt very confident during our tour. You won't regret booking this activity if you are on the fence about doing something like this.Emmanuel is super fun! He was almost more fun that the tour itself! Which is awesome- one of the best experiences of any of my Europe trips- I am going to try this in other countries as well- but I am sure I won’t find Emmanuel everywhere I go:)

We booked the sunrise tour which was so outstanding that we decided to do the evening tour as well. Emmanuel and Florian are outstanding guides and so wonderful helping us book the tour. You will miss out if you don’t book a tour with them. They mix in fun with the history great for teenagers with you when you travel! I felt like I left with new friends in Paris!! Definitely a great experience and the highlight of our trip!I thoroughly enjoyed my evening Segway tour with Emmanuel. I thoroughly enjoyed my evening Segway tour with Emmanuel. My goal, which he asked me at the beginning, was to see all the sights by night all lit up without having to walk or travel via subway to each and every one, and to visit them all in a new way. I can't say I am a segway expert but I didn't fall over and managed to get around okay. I probably need another few sessions to feel entirely comfortable but if I can do this (being over 50 and overweight), anyone can. Emmanuel was very helpful, giving me a quick course in using the Segway, and took pictures of me throughout and explained all the sites as we went along. Being February at night, it was definitely cold but Emmanuel provided a coat and a windbreaker and the Segway has gloves. There is also a helmet. I would take this tour again. Cathleen Walkley
