The Selogriyo Rice Terrace with Hindu temple, Visit the beautiful and remote Selogriyo Temple and trek through the surrounding rice terraces. Selogriyo Location at Magelang area bottom of Mount Sumbing, in the middle of Giyanti ridge and Condong ridge.

Admire the Hindu temple's distinctive structure and explore the lush gardens surrounding it. Gaze out upon the verdant greenery of the volcanic hillside. Last our tour will go to Hidden Waterfall at bottom of Merapi Volcano . We will explore the waterfall, the air very fresh, the water also clean. many flower go every single places in this area

Great and worthwhile. Sights were amazing, we could see mount merapi and its smoke (since it just erupted 3 weeks ago), abundance of flora and fauna and a lovely hiking trip down to the waterfall. Picturesque spots for photos. Our guide Widi was very knowledgeable about the history and culture of each place we went to, and was able to give us recommendations for future trips / other places in Yogyakarta. Highly recommend.The hike to the temple was enjoyable as we got to see terraced rice fields and some vegetable gardens with mountains in the background. The Waroeng Kopi Selogriyo makes good coffee and tea.

We talked about a lot of different topics and he explained us all about the rice and all the different vegetables and fruits on the fields and the temple. Especially the first part was a nice trip for people like us, who are searching areas outside of the touristic hotspots.
