We loved our tour with Dave! If you want to learn about the immense history and culture of Seoul, this is the tour for you. We saw so much in one day! Dave is super knowledgeable about the history and can speak English well. He took his time with us and customized any part of the tour we wanted. Part of the tour you will be walking and part will be in his van. We also felt comfortable going to a Korean restaurant during lunch time since he speaks Korean and helped us order. That’s not something we felt confident doing so it added so much to our trip! Book this tour! This was an amazing private tour!! 10/10 would highly recommend! Our guide was very knowledgeable in the history of each place he took us, and my sister and I had a blast! Thanks so much for the tour of your wonderful city!

Great day with Jay! Friendly and knowledgeable. Enjoyed visiting Changdeok Palace (a secondary palace, but definitely worth seeing), Bukchon Hanok Village, a Buddhist temple, Insadong and the Seoul tower. Jay took us to a local restaurant for lunch that was delicious and was flexible with our schedule when we were interested in having or picture taken in a hanbok dress. He even gave us a great recommendation for dinner.Justine was great - the palace visit was the highlight starting with the changing of the guard. Great lunch at a cozy place in the art district... ended with visiting the highest point/tower to see the city. Very pleasant way to spend a day to get to know Seoul a bit.

This tour was a perfect introduction to Seoul. Our driver/guide, Justin, arrived at our hotel exactly on time in a luxurious and spacious vehicle. Throughout the day, Justin was informative, polite, flexible and kind. Since Gyeongbokgung, the most popular of the 4 palaces, is closed on Tuesdays, we headed instead for UNESCO World Cultural Heritage listed Changdeokgung Palace, which was interesting and very picturesque, especially enhanced by Justin’s perfectly balanced commentary – informative but not overwhelming. First, though, Justin added an unscheduled tour of the National Folk Museum. To be honest, we wouldn’t have thought to go there ourselves but it turned out to be quite a highlight. We really recommend to add it to your schedule if you have chance – and it has free entry! Other stops included Bukchon Hanok Village, a stroll through Insadong, a short visit to Jogyesa Buddhist temple and time at the Namsan Seoul Tower. Visibility at the tower was very good, so the views were superb. Another highlight: Justin enthusiastically helped us to choose a very tasty authentic Korean lunch, included in the tour price, at an Insadong restaurant. Entirely on his own initiative, Justin also took many great photos of us during the day on his Canon DSLR. He kindly uploaded these onto a sharing site for us that evening. They are a wonderful souvenir of a marvellous day. A great start to our visit to Seoul!
