This was my second time punting in Cambridge but the first time for my friends. We all loved it! Ordering the tickets online was easy and the directions of where to wait were perfect. It was well organised and professional. The guide on our punt was very experienced - he said he had been doing it for 6 years and it showed as he expertly avoided novices on the river without even interrupting his flow. Also knowledgeable and entertaining. It really was a relaxing and enjoyable experience, I would highly recommend it.Great experience & worth the trip. Our guide Zach was informative & good fun. Something you have to do while in Cambridge. As in previous reviews don’t take the 1st price they quote you. You should pay no more than £20 a person in my opinion.

Let’s Go Punting - This experience was great fun but please be careful not to be ripped off by paying more than you have to. I could have booked online and got a far cheaper ticket at £40 for 2 people. Instead as I walked by the rep told me the places were selling fast especially with it being the Easter weekend and gave me the impression I should go there and then. He firstly wanted to charge me £80 for a 45 minute tour for me and my 16 year old daughter. He then said he would put us both through as students and charged us £60. Why i didn’t do my research I don’t know. The highest price that weekend online was £55 and the lowest £40. I could have easily attended the time of the £40 tickets. So, yes, I felt ripped off and conned. He didn’t direct me to the company website; he didn’t even mention they had one. So do your homework please and watch out for reps wanting to take advantage. We are just back from a fun and informative punt with Alex. Kids loved him, I would have a pint with him and my misses thought he was hot 😂. Much better than doing it yourself and swerving up and down the river. Great time!!!
