Our tour guide was David who was very personable, but when asked what the schedule was didn't seem to have a plan. We stopped for lunch at a place described as the best on the route. It was like stopping at a gas station. The employees were extremely loud, the food was inedible and the bathrooms were dirty and had no toilet seats. Sintra is a charming town with bumper-to-bumper traffic. I asked if we would be able to walk in the cave because two of us have walking issues. He said, "Well, yes," but actually you walk up kind of a ramp and look down into the Boca da Inferno cave. Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of Europe, is just walking up a sidewalk and looking out at the ocean. Guincho beach is just a beach and the water is cold so there were few people on the beach and hardly anyone in the water. The stop at Cascais for shopping was done in 10 minutes because it's mostly cafes and souvenir shops which all have the same uninteresting stuff. Then we drove along the coast. We live in Florida so beaches and coastline are nothing special. We were running out of time so we had to skip the palaces, but David said time didn't matter and insisted that we stop to buy pastries which were delicious but we didn't really care about them at that point. All in all a disappointing tour for $600 for four hours. We had a great time! David was very accommodating and showed us places that normally we wouldn’t have seen with any other tour! We really enjoyed the flexibility and sightseeing.

Our guide David was fantasticDavid and Pedro were absolutely phenomenal. They went out of their way to ensure we had a great time, used the time we had really well, and adapted the trip to our needs. We enjoyed our time with them so much that we invited them to dinner as well with us afterwards! Overall, a 10 out 5 afternoon!

One of the best and humble person I've seen. He is not like the normal tour guides, he goes out of the way and will show the best parts of the places and will keep you amazed. In one word i would say "Amazing ❤️"We met David by chance as soon as we arrived in Sintra. We met David by chance as soon as we arrived in Sintra. We expected to only see the castles of Sintra, but David took his time showing us much more (Sintra, Cabo da Roca, Boca do Inferno, Cascais...). So, it was a great experience, not only because of the view, since we went to beautiful places, but also because David is an awesome, friendly and honest guide. He showed us great spots for pictures and brought us to have lunch in a very good restaurant, but not so expensive - like we asked him to do. We really recommend his tour.
