We had a private tour with Roberta that was AMAZING. She kept our 3yr old daughter engaged and interested almost the entire time. She was also an amazingly informative guide for us adults. We had a terrific tour and would recommend her to anyone.

Can only really warmly recommend the tour! Pompei really came to life.

Loretta was a fantastic guide. She really made the tour interesting and our children (age 14 and 11) found it fun instead of boring. She made it especially memorable by singing happy birthday to me in her beautiful soprano voice (it was my 50th birthday) in the small theatre or Odeon. Although the tour was expensive I think it was completely worth it. Being July it was hot and crowded and would have been very overwhelming, but having a private guide made it all bearable.Thank you to our guide Maria for making our visit to Pompeii entertaining and informative for our 2 young children. I would totally recommend using this tour company if you want to learn about Pompeii but want to keep the kids happy!Having been to Pompei before I knew it was a big day out full of history. Having been to Pompei before I knew it was a big day out full of history. However a group tour with 30 people for 3 hours is taxing on the kids. This was the perfect solution! The tour was aimed directly at the kids, teaching them the history of the area, and about what happened in a fun and interactive way. Our guide Roberta connected straight away with our two boys (aged 10&12) and the Parents vs Kids competition was set. A scavenger hunt had them looking carefully at the surroundings and searching for historical clues. I think I probably learnt more this visit than I did the last time (some 25years ago) as the information was interesting to listen to, Roberta knew every cm of Pompei, right down to the ancient graffiti. The tour with transport from Rome was pricy but you learn quickly it’s by far worth every cent! Anyone travelling with kids knows if the kids aren’t interested, then the tour won’t be remembered or make an impression. Big groups and complicated commentary won’t work with kids. We chose to add a winery visit which made it a full day out with great food and wine to finish. Thank you Roberta and Illaria for a seamless and awesome day out that all of us will remember.
