Mini was fantastic! Despite several early challenges (like the meeting point being shut off because a movie was being filmed without prior announcement), she improvised and led our group into a savory evening. The authenticity of the food, along with the depth of knowledge of our hosts at each stop (especially for wine), were quite impressive. And, Mini was at her very best when responding to questions about the food, wine and history of the various regions of Greece. A very fulfilling experience for the mind, soul and body.Had an absolute blast! My group tour ended up being a 1-1 due to other guests cancelling. Ismene was a fabulous guide. Vintage wine bar/tasting was great however the whole tour was too much time and we ended eating at 10:45 PM which is far too late. The instructions to meet at the fountain in syntagma square were of however they said the tour guide would have a posted with nour name on it however there was not poster and we lost another 15 min trying to find the right person. The first stop was a bit of a waste of time, Tasting some mastic i believe was the liquor 2nd stop for a Pita bread sandwich was ok but consumed too much time. 3rd stop at the Vintage wine bar was great 4th stop was a meal for a king but at 10:45 it was just too late to eat and i skipped most of the food.Ismene was the best tour guide on a trip full of very good guides. She was so helpful and handled all of our questions with grace. The tour was wonderful too and the food choice were superb. Will definitely do again on our next trip.
