Steve was a friendly, enthusiastic font of knowledge about the city and the characters that influenced its history. He not only provided the basics, but also added sidebar stories that related what happened back in the day to what was going on now. He was in a word "entertaining". In addition to his presentation abilities he also watched over our group of 6 adults by making sure we didn't block the sidewalks, walked where permission was granted and ensured we didn't get run over by all the other tourists. He's a keeper, use his abilities to learn a bit about the city and human nature. We loved our walking tour with Steve. He accommodated our large party and made our visit fun and enjoyable.

We found Walk It Charleston from our son who recommended the tour and especially Kay. He was absolutely right! We had a great time and were overwhelmed with the history and sites we visited. Kay was outstanding - helpful, knowledgeable, energetic and funny! We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and recommend this for anyone. It was great way to learn about the city and Kay gave some ideas of other local places to visit. 2 hours went by remarkably fast! A highlight of our visit.
