Overview
Explore sea caves and lava tubes in our safe, exciting, and maneuverable vessels designed to get you up close and personal with the coast. Scout for marine life such as pilot whales as long as your boat, Hawaiian spinner dolphins, green sea turtles, and more.
A deli lunch is provided, as are snacks, water & juice throughout the day. All the snorkeling gear and flotation devices you need as well. You simply show up in your swimsuit with your reef-safe sunscreen and towel in hand and away we go!

Stop At: Sea Quest Hawaii, 78-7138 Kaleiopapa St, Kailua-Kona, Island of Hawaii, HI 96740
Explore three snorkel destinations, Kealakekua Bay, Puʻuhonua O Honaunau, and a private black sand beach. Our captain and crew will share the history and culture as they adventure through sea caves and lava tubes.

Excellent trip. Saw lots of beautiful fish and we were shown lava tubes and caves that you can't see unless you're in the water. Lunch was perfect, fresh and flavorful. This was the absolute best thing we did on our trip! When I return to the Big Island, I will definitely do this again. The group was small enough that it felt more like a fun day out with friends rather than a cruise with a bunch of strangers where you have to line up to get on and off the boat. The captain was so knowledgable and took our boat into caves, etc. and shared a ton of knowledge with us. There was a fresh fruit platter after our first snorkel which was delicious! I can't say enough good things. Then, obviously, they took us to THE best places to snorkel. I've snorkeled in the Great Barrier Reef and this was better - so many amazing fish, turtles, young reef, old reef, and it was just thrilling being in more secluded spots so i didn't feel like a tourist! Again - it just felt like I was on a boat with really nice, knowledgable friends. I loved it and WILL be back!This is the 3rd time we do the south kona expedition. This is a must every time we visit!!! Amazing snorkeling wonderful crew, just an amazing day!!! Captain Brenden was the best! Very knowledgeable, funny and kept the boat ride exciting!!!
