We did "Spy & Espionage Tour of London" a week ago, on April 23. It was fantastic. An absolute must for those who like spy stories and/ or history. Andy, our tour guide, a high caliber specialist who has obviously spent years working in intelligence, has a phenomenal knowledge. We have travelled through the XX century history, covering some of the most fascinating spy stories and operations. The tour combined pleasant and easy walks with some driving around London. All our questions were fully answered and discussed further leading to even more spy stories....The tour was intense when it comes to knowledge we acquired but in ended in St. Ermin's Hotel in a true "spy style" with Vodka- Martini on the house... Andy, thank you!we booked for my partners birthday and was really excited about this only to turn up on the day after paying our travel and taking time off work to find they cancelled it but forgot to send us an email. we booked for my partners birthday and was really excited about this only to turn up on the day after paying our travel and taking time off work to find they cancelled it but forgot to send us an email. Had to fight to get compensation and have them a second chance and cancelled again! This time they did email but made us sort the cancellation for them! They claimed it was low capacity but feel this is very selfish of them. It shouldn't matter if there is one or 500 of you pay for a tour you have a right to go. I have been on many tours over the years with only 3 or so people and they still had the decency to run the tour. Company don't handle anything themselves and make you do all the leg work if you booked through another website in making calls and emails with no help. Just not worth it, my advice would be to find something elseReal history linked to creation of James Bond character in films. World War history and walking to iconic historical sites.

My husband took this tour and enjoyed every minute of it. I'm very disappointed that I had to miss it. The tour guide, Andy Jackson, takes you through London and the history of spying-from the beginnings of MI5 and MI6 to the Cold War to recent assassination attempts by Russia to silence ex-spys and double agents. Andy tells interesting anecdotes and stories at each stop. He fills you in on the real stories behind the headlines; stories you will remember to tell your friends and they won't believe you because the truth is stranger that the stories told to cover it up. This was by far my husband's favorite tour during our stay. I will definitely make it a point to go on it the next time we are in London. Anyone old enough or interested enough to understand what was at stake during WWII and the Cold War will appreciate this tour.I had taken this tour with 4 kids and lots of excitement but this was utter waste of Money and Time. I had taken this tour with 4 kids and lots of excitement but this was utter waste of Money and Time. Would you expect guide taking you through St James park giving knowledge about animals and birds in Spy and Espionage tour? Guide barely shared any stories of spies or exciting incidences of espionage. Second half of tour was sitting in coach and going around London with guide giving us information about historical monuments. We do not need that in Spy tour. May be some Treasure hunt or analysis game could have been added to make it interesting. In my opinion tour was entirely worthless and time waste.I have been living in London for 12 years now and I love going out and about. I have been living in London for 12 years now and I love going out and about. But if I really want to discover something new about this amazing City, I join one of the many tours that Evan Evans organises in and out of London. Yesterday I had the pleasure to experience their new "Small Group Tours" "Spy & Espionage" which was fantastic, with Phil the guide that made us feel part of the secrets of London! Combination of walking and driven in a brand new luxury mini coaches. Highly recommended!!!!!
