This is a typical itinerary for this product
Pass By: Wlotzkasbaken, Namibia
We pass Wlotskasbaken on our way out of Swakopmund and discuss this unique settlement
We also pass the new Desalinization Plant close by delivering water to teh Uranium mines and Swakopmund
Stop At: Hentiesbaai, Hentiesbaai, Erongo Region
Wepass through Henties bay and refuel for our long journey. This is a local holiday town
Duration: 10 minutes
Stop At: Cape Cross Seal Reserve Namibia
We view the 70 000 strong Seal Colony, and discuss the rich history of Cape Cross. There are some small Salt mines in the area and unique orange lichen fields
Duration: 20 minutes
Stop At: Spitzkoppe, Namibia
We back track to Henties bay and turn off into the Namib Desert heading for the Spitzkoppe. We pass some local stalls selling rock crystals and view the fascinating Bushman paintings and rock engravings. We climb up the Rock Arch and view the beautiful surrounding Dolomite rock formations. Spitzkoppe is Namibia's Matterhorn, an Inselberg and beautiful granite rock formation with a height of 1638m. After a small lunch we head back to Swakopmund

Wir haben uns für diese Tour entschieden, da wir möglichst viel sehen wollten. Und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Wir haben uns für diese Tour entschieden, da wir möglichst viel sehen wollten. Und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Punkt 8 Uhr morgens holte uns Uwe an unserem Hotel ab und von Beginn an waren wir von unserem Guide begeistert. Er brachte uns nicht nur zum Henties Bay, der Seerobbenkolonie und zur Spitzkoppe, sondern erklärte uns alles zur Geschichte Namibias, den Traditionen der Südwester und den angefahrenen Natursehenswürdigkeiten. Für uns ist es ein unvergesslicher Tag gewesen. Wir würden die Tour mit Uwe wieder buchen und wenn wir nicht weiter mussten nach Südafrika, hätten wir noch eine weitere gebucht. Wir haben einfach viel mehr gesehen und mitbekommen als wenn wir alleine unterwegs gewesen wären. Und vor allem hat es mit ihm richtig Spaß gemacht. Für das leibliche Wohl hat er auch gesorgt mit kühlen Getränken, Snacks und Brötchen. Überall da, wo wir Fotos machen wollten, hat er angehalten. Der Tag mit Uwe war ein absoluter Highlight unserer Namibia-Reise!!!
