My partner and I booked this tour during our month long stay in Split and I have to say, it was the highlight of our whole trip. Even though we picked the worst day (weather wise) to do a tour, Joško was such a good tour guide that we were captivated from start to end and the time flew by (it ended up being over 3hrs long but felt like no time had passed at all) Joško’s passion for Croatia and history in general really shows and he kept us engaged throughout. We also very much appreciated his restaurant recommendations (so good we went one suggestion twice!) You will not be disappointed on this tour with Joško.Stopped at Split whilst on a cruise. Stopped at Split whilst on a cruise. The town was a wonderful surprise and the visit made so much better by our guide Josko. He is a native of Split & clearly loves the town & its history. His knowledge of the Diocletian Palace was amazing & was able to explain clearly in perfect English. Also introduced us to an excellent restaurant serving local dishes & wine before we followed his suggestion climbing to the viewpoint. Highly recommended tour if you are visiting Split. This is the tour to take! My family and I did it recently in the off season and it was like we had the Palace to ourselves. Such a great way to learn about the rich history of area. Our guide, Josko, was a perfect balance of funny and informative. We highly recommend him for your next tour.
