Thare is many more species of animals to bee seen occasionally. Once (upon a time) I even saw a leopard very close in a tree at the embankment. If you do not go on this trip you REALLY miss out somethin most remarkable!A very well done tour Saw hippos, crocodiles and birds I thought two hours would be too long and that after 1 hour we would be tired, but actually the two hours were perfect. If youve never seen hippo's or Crocs before, it is worth the excursion; Otherwise I would only go for the boat ride and drinks on-board (at your cost). We had no sound on the intercom on the upper deck of the boat so had zero commentary on what we were meant to be looking at; We would have enjoyed some more general knowledge and history of the wetland park we were cruising through as you can only look at hippo's and crocs for so long. Staff were helpful and meant well but did not abound in knowledge of the area.We booked this via TripAdvisor in the UK. They had our names on a list, we left on time and we saw hippos. There is a bar, hot drinks, snacks and a toilet. It was a bit chilly out on the water even though it was a hot day, wished I'd had a cardigan. After leaving the boat we were returning to our car and there was a hippo just standing in the car park, we couln't beleive it.First of all, I want to say "thanks" for the folks that were extremely helpful and accommodated us needing to attend a later cruise than booked. First of all, I want to say "thanks" for the folks that were extremely helpful and accommodated us needing to attend a later cruise than booked. However, the cruise itself, missed the marks. There was a private party that took up over half the boat, leaving little space for the folks not part of the group and very difficult to see anything as they were standing up nearly half the time. Little interaction and only few "fun facts" about what we were seeing from the staff. Sure we saw several pods of hippos, 1 alligator and a few birds. Didn't seem the staff really cared much about finding additional alligators, just went through the motions of cruising out and back as quickly as they could, matter of fact we were back 15 mins early. Very disappointing.
