Great tour. Pick up hours were very confusing due to mountain time and reservation standard time. Reservation said pickup was 4pm. But, tour guide showed up at 5pm.

Sandrea was a great tour guide and was so generous sharing Navajo cultural sites, practices and language with us. She even gave us tips on how to get the best photos of the valley :) highly recommend

Our sunset tour with Larry Team was without question the highlight of our trip to the Southwest. Larry's sweet and attentive nature, expert knowledge of the geology and history of the valley, and engaging and hypnotic way of describing the Navaho creation story and native traditions made our tour a truly fulfilling and memorable learning experience. We walked away with deep awareness of how sacred Monument Valley is, and beautiful photos as the sun lowered as well. I would do this experience again; am hoping to bring others next time to experience these couple of hours with Larry in this deeply special area. The tour was good, our tour guide Marge was very nice and fun, very experienced. She drove us to all the best spots. We were a little bit unlucky, because it was cloudy and there was no sunset, but still it was amazing, the place is stunning and It Is worth the drive. P.s. We were a little bit unlucky, because it was cloudy and there was no sunset, but still it was amazing, the place is stunning and It Is worth the drive. P.s. Bring something to eat because The View restaurant was closed and they only had disgusting and frozen sandwiches from the vending machines, I would have liked to know that.Larry Team was our Guide, and he was wonderful is so many ways. Larry Team was our Guide, and he was wonderful is so many ways. He is a real Navajo, and told us stories from tribal tradition about their origins, mythology, and traditions. He drummed and sang for us, and took us to all the amazing places (Eye Of The Sun, for instance) in the Monument Valley backcountry. He was careful to drive in a way that kept us comfortable (the roads are quite bumpy). He was charming, serious, yet funny, and really helped us understand the place. I highly recommend you take this tour (although not when it's really windy), and ask for Larry. His tour was everything I had hoped for. A'he'hee, Larry!
