Sustainable Bean-to-bar Chocolate Tour
Overview
Join our chocolate tour through Zürich's lesser-known neighbourhoods and get to know local "bean-to-bar" chocolate makers! Taste their delicious chocolates while learning about this new sustainable movement in the chocolate world.
We visit small chocolate factories or shops, learn about ethical chocolate making, and understand the stories behind each bite: How come Switzerland is famous for chocolate? From where do the cacao beans come to Switzerland? Were the farmers paid a fair price? Come along to find out this and more!

We've been wanting to take a chocolate tour in Zurich for a while, but most of them felt very commercial. When we came across the one from DeTours we knew that's the right choice. Diana showed us the way chocolate can be made ethically while keeping the result delicious. A part of the tour was chocolate tasting which we loved the most (for obvious reasons 🤤). It was great to get to know the bean to bar movement and be a part of the change thanks to DeTours. We loved it and definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking beyond the chocolate of the big brand names.David_P
