Great fun learning how to cook beef noodle soup, cucumber appetizer and 刈包 (Taiwanese hamburger). Wayne is very friendly and easy to talk to. Learned several tips in the few hours we were at his cooking studio. I.e. cooking onion w/o oil and just water. Wayne has perfect English and Mandarin. So in our mixed group an elder and a 8 yo middle-age men and women, he was able to converse with all of us fluently. His assistant was also super friendly and so courteous in serving us lunch. Would def recommend someone who has interest in cooking, has a few hours in Taipei and want to learn from someone local, see local residence and learn tips and places to go from Wayne.Great experience. Great experience. Chef Wayne provided an interactive time and taught us some nice techniques. It was a very social experience and got to learn about some of the Taiwanese culture and produce. The food was excellent and authentic and felt that it was the best dining experience during our trip - even though we cooked it but we had good direction from Chef. Recommend and would do it again.Excellent experience and our host, Wayne, is an amazing person. Hands on training, lots of fun. Anyone would love this experience. Highly recommend.

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Taipei. A chance to do something different than the day-to-day touring of the typical (and wonderful) sites. Wayne was a great chef and teacher. First, he took us through the market--(enjoyable, educational and TASTY) to buy ingredients and then proceeded to his kitchen/studio to prepare lunch. When we got there, we put on aprons and got to work preparing three courses...Guided by Wayne in a fun and informal setting. And then we ate our work--it was delicious. thank you Wayne. --D&E
