My husband and I did the one day sunrise trip to Agra from Delhi to see the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort and it was a great experience. Our driver Mr Vishan-Sharma collected us from the hotel for an early start at 2.30am, arrived on time, was extremely friendly and made sure we were comfortable enough to sleep on the three hour trip to Agra. He was a great driver all day, very helpful, had cold water and aircon waiting for us after visiting the sites and even went as far as to bring us to the local markets for tea and beer on the way home. Our guide for the day was Ms Jaya-Dubey and we can't praise her enough for making the tour so enjoyable. She's extremely knowledge about both sites and the city of Agra, speaks great English, encourages you to ask questions and made sure we got plenty of pictures together, as well as giving us some time together to enjoy the Taj Mahal as a couple. We can't recommend this tour company highly enough - request Mr Vishnan and Ms Jaya for a truly enjoyable and informative day out.Just had a fantastic day in Agra visiting the Taj Mahal and the Red Fort! We booked a day trip from New Delhi to Agra. Our driver Ravi arrived punctually at our hotel at 2.30am. We managed to arrive in Agra around 6am, just in time for sunrise at the Taj Mahal. We toured the grounds with our guide Rishi. He was knowledgeable, professional and readily offered to help us take photographs. After viewing the Taj Mahal, we had breakfast at a nearby hotel (included as part of the package). Following breakfast we visited a gems workshop where we were introduced to the various precious metals used in the construction of the Taj Mahal. Subsequently we explored the Agra Fort where we snapped more photographs and gained a deeper understanding of the history surrounding the place. We then visited a place selling carpets before returning to New Delhi. We arrived back in our hotel around 3pm. It was a good experience and we would like to commend Rishi and Ravi for making our day a blast!Just recently travelled in a group of 6 to India for a short weekend trip. Just recently travelled in a group of 6 to India for a short weekend trip. Everything went very smoothly with the tour company. They were always on time to pick us up and were very responsive before our travel dates. Shout out to our driver Surrender, he was fantastic driving through the crazy traffic in both Delhi and Agra. He also stayed with the bus as we stopped whenever we stopped to visit the local sites or eat. This allowed us to leave our belongings on the bus throughout. The tour group gave us an itinerary beforehand and upon arrival but ultimately left it up to us to do what we wanted. The Taj Mahal and Agra Red Fort were on the list in addition to some recommended spots from our tour guide. If we weren't up for something they changed the plan and kept moving forward. They arranged lunch for us on both days at the Taj Mahal Restaurant in Agra which was very good. They really made the whole trip easy, no hassle whatsoever.I was impressed with how professional this company was. My driver arrived to pick me up at the hotel early. Our day started at 2:30 am when our driver Sanju picked us up on time and made our trip to Delhi very comfortable with a few snacks, and loads of water. I sat in the front for the 3 hr journey from Delhi to Agra, and he stopped to get me some chai. If you know anything about driving in India, you know how hectic it can be and Sanju was a very safe and patient driver. Would hire him again for transport anytime! We went to pickup our guide Manoj, who is a very well educated man. In order to pass the exam for being a licensed tour guide, he had to know substantial info on history current events and tourist sites of India. He also speaks Spanish as a third language! I loved the story he told us about how the Taj Mahal was built and is a great love story. The mausoleum houses both of their bodies, with replicas of the tombs built in the same time period and are impressively still intact from back in the 1600's. Manoj took us through the grounds, patiently waited as I lagged behind taking pictures of everything, and even took some pictures of me and my friend! The Agra fort was no less spectacular and is a photographers dream, architecture made for some great photos. We then went to see how traditional Indian handicrafts were made: first visiting a Zardozi shop, then a marble inlay shop where we got to try our hand at carving the marble and sanding down the stones, and finally to a Moughal carpet shop where we learned how people hand wove beautifully elaborate carpets. All of the handicraft shops were authentic, but prices way too inflated for India. I did purchase a zardozi tapestry which was truely beautiful, but I definitely reached my max spending capacity for the holiday. Importantly, these two gentlemen made two American girls feels very safe for the journey there and back, and provided for all of our needs. Sanju even stopped for chai on the way back! Thanks for a good day guys!
