What to expect
Nestled between New Zealand’s highest mountains, the Tasman Sea, stunning rainforests, glowing glaciers, mirror lakes and braided river beds, Franz Josef Glacier has been described as one of the most beautiful places to skydive in the world.
Tandem skydiving is the fastest, easiest and safest way for an inexperienced skydiver to enjoy the thrill of jumping out of a plane, free falling through the sky at 200kph/120mph and floating safely to the ground under a parachute. You can simply enjoy the thrill of the experience knowing your tandem instructor has everything under control.

Disclaimer: We couldn't do the skydive due to crappy weather BUT... Am specifically writing this comment to commend the team at Sky Dive FJ. We had been in Franz Joseph and Fox for a couple of days. Despite our Skydive getting cancelled due to bad weather, the team constantly helped us every step of the way to get a dive in. We must have bugged them over and over again and still they tried their level best to help us do other activities yet keep us in front of the line and informed about our potential dive. Given that this jump is likely to guarantee stunning views and has the nicest team we have come across, this is a must do for anyone for the entire experience. Shouts to both Lilly and Sandy who went out of their way to help us and take back tremendous goodwill despite not getting to jump. Thanks guys.Awesome experience with a beautiful view at the Glacier & Tasman Sea + really super & friendly team!! I want to do it again & again & again... Thank you so much.

I had an amazing skydive with a 70 second free fall on my recent trip to NZ. The instructors are very confident and have a relaxed demeanor which made me feel comfortable on my first skydive. They were straight to the point about everything that I really had no questions. My guide was totally helpful and awesome. She led me through everything and was so cool and collected about it all. I absolutely loved my video and photos that I received the next day. I would highly recommend that if you want an inexplicable, thrilling experience with amazing views, then go with this particular company in Franz Josef. I would also recommend to get the video with the photos bundle because they turned out amazing! You really won't regret it. This is a memory that will be at the top of my list forever!I was extremely nervous about doing this skydive as me and heights don't go together (still don't why I did it!). I was extremely nervous about doing this skydive as me and heights don't go together (still don't why I did it!). However, it is one of the standout moments for me of my travels around NZ. We had originally booked in to do the 20,000ft skydive but unfortunately, the weather conditions didn't permit this. Instead, we did the 16,500ft dive. My guide JT was incredible!!!!!!!! He listens to my million questions and totally put me at ease. He was brilliant and I cannot praise him enough. The scenery on the way down was simply breathtaking and the photos and video I purchased were worth it. I would 100% recommend using this company. Their professionalism and friendliness throughout was brilliant.A huge thank you to Henry and the team! To say I was terrified is an understatement. A huge thank you to Henry and the team! To say I was terrified is an understatement. I don’t even go on rollercoasters or Ferris Wheels. I wanted to do this to experience something different but more importantly to conquer one of my biggest fears. I wish I could bottle up the feeling of empowerment and take it with me for the rest of my days. Henry was so understanding and kind. It was because of him that I jumped out of that plane. He didn’t force me to do it but asked me to trust him...and I did. Thank you to Henry and Jordan for being kind and compassionate when I needed it most. I will never forget this experience.
