This was a fantastic tour and a great way to see a lot of the Lake District in one day. Despite a dreary wet day, our tour guide, Peter A was fantastic and made the most of it!

The tour was incredible from start to finish and friendliness and care from the staff was so rewarding. Before the tour had started, the lovely Jill at Windermere information centre had sorted us out with our driver Ian, as the booking company we used had wrongly advised the lovely people at Mountain Goat tours that we’d need a hotel pickup without telling us first. Despite this mixup Jill still worked quickly to make sure we get on and have this amazing tour. Next meeting Ian was great because he had driven back from further away to pick us up and continue with the tour. His commentary was immense and memorable, I’ll have so many stories to tell when I’m home of Cumbria and its heartwarming people and culture. Thank you for the spectacular day! What a great day, with a great guide. Carol was knowledgable and funny. The weather was perfect in the morning, clouded over in the late afternoon, but the views and "photo opps" were terrific. Thanks for a lovely day, capped off by an Ullswater cruise.

We did the ten lakes tour with Mountain Goat from Keswick on a Sunday early in the season. We booked on Trip Advisor, and had no problem with the e tickets, and we're picked up promptly from the central car park. There were just three of us on the trip, so plenty of space on the minibus. The trip comprises two loops, which can be taken separately if preferred, so we did the morning section and returned to Keswick to start the afternoon tour. Lunch was taken in Grasmere, where we had ample time for a pub meal. There were plenty of other stops for photo opportunities, or coffee / bathroom stops. Included was a short boat trip on Windermere from Ambleside to Bowness. Other highlights included Suprise View, and Castlerigg stone circle. Our driver was very friendly and full of useful information. We would use Mountain Goat again, and found them a very professional organization. We took the Ten Lakes tour for Easter Monday 2019 and were the only passengers.
