I think whatever Jacqui doesn’t know about WW1 is not worth knowing. Her knowledge was unbelievable. And for her to not only know the Australian story, but the Canadian, Newfoundland (very important!) American (who knew!?) and British stories intimately - unbelievable. Taking us to sites that we didn’t think we would get to see, this tour is just the best. Thanks for an unforgettable day. We thoroughly loved every second of it.Visiting the battlefield of the Somme with Rod and Jackie was an amazing, respectful and insightful experience. Visiting the battlefield of the Somme with Rod and Jackie was an amazing, respectful and insightful experience. They both drew on decades of personal military experience and police experience (both had long careers in both services) colouring in the experiences with personal reflections and lessons. They were able to walk me through some of the battlefields, step by step, in as much detail as I wanted (which was a lot) their memory of the overall history down to the minutia of individual stories was impressive. They were also able to focus on Australian and South African history specifically which was an area of interest for me. Thank you for an amazing journey.Jackie delivered an informative interesting experience, whilst the trip had an itinerary Jackie talked us through options and we picked where we went.
