Along with its beauty and history, the Slanic Salt Mine is also one of the biggest therapeutic sites in Romania, a two-level mine featuring a microclimate with natural air-conditioning and constant temperature and atmospheric pressure throughout the year.
Going further up the mountain, we have the opportunity to take a glance at how Romanians lead their lives in the Carpathians in picturesque villages full of traditional decorations and household items.

He went out of his way to get a reservation for us to see the Parliament which we though we didn't have time for. The salt mine is interesting and seeing the Carpathian Mountains we nice too.

Our guide, Jony, put together a wonderful alternate itinerary, especially including Mogosoaia Palace. We had a wonderful day with a very good guide.
