My wife and I went on the 2 hour private wildlife tour with the most fantastic guide Msizi, who I believe is one of the senior rangers at the place. My wife and I went on the 2 hour private wildlife tour with the most fantastic guide Msizi, who I believe is one of the senior rangers at the place. His knowledge about the animals was truly second to none and it was obvious to both of us that he really enjoyed his work. He was a credit to the organisation. The tour itself was very very good and we saw plenty of wild animals, all with a history of either illness or persecution, which resulted in them being brought into the sanctuary. We both thoroughly enjoyed our visit very much and would urge others to visit if you are ever in the area.Great experience! Amazing Sanctuary...Boniewe hour guide explaint very well, and she knew everything about the animals.

As a lover of seeing wild animals in their natural environment it takes awhile to adjust to seeing animals in enclosures. Having said that one must accept that the animals you see have been rescued and continue to live a lovely life. Not only that but Tenikwa do an amazing amount of good work in rehabilitating animals to go back into the wild, these animals you do not see as contact with humans is minimised. I enjoyed doing the tour and the Guide was very knowledgeable and thus I learnt a lot. I do recommend that you visit Tenikwa and it is worth every minute
