Tatiana was a terrific and very knowledgeable guide, the in-depth information she gave us about the delicious foods and drinks we were trying helped us appreciate every bite & sip even more. This tour was worth every penny and we will definitely join one of the other tours offered by HJF food tours when we return to Rome. What a great adventure! Tatyana was absolutely wonderful and we learned so much from her about the history of “good eats” in Rome. Highly recommend!

My wife, my 21 year old daughter and I really enjoyed this tour. Nicole was a good guide. The variety of restaurants and food stalls was outstanding. We sampled many foods, coffee, prosecco, table wines and bottled wines with multiple samplings at several restaurants including 4 stalls in the market. We would definitely recommend it. Also, this is probably random but we had a great group of people that joined the tour. A great experience! We had a fantastic day on the Roman food tour in Prati. We had a fantastic day on the Roman food tour in Prati. There were only two of us on the tour, which made it feel personal and very special thanks to our guide, Luisa. There was a variety of different Italian foods to sample, in a range of different settings. We really enjoyed the fact that each place was different, from a pizza-by-the-slice bar, to a restaurant lunch, to a market walk around. There was an awful lot of food and we were very full by then end, so be sure to bring a large appetite!! The quality of food we tasted was amazing. The 30-year aged balsamic vinegar was extremely special, and the various wines throughout were also very nice. We found Luisa to be absolutely fantastic, with incredible food knowledge and a very approachable manner. We felt that Luisa was really enjoying showing us around, rather than just taking us from place to place. She was also great at answering our many questions about the food and wine! Initially, we had booked a cookery course which couldn’t be run during our stay in Rome, but Luisa went above and beyond to make sure that this tour ticked all the boxes we wanted it to. She also made sure from the outset to ask us if we had any food dislikes or allergies, which was thoughtful. Overall, we had a lovely day and would recommend to anyone who wants to sample some authentic Italian food whilst visiting Rome.Perfect! The food was amazing, the locations were great (not tourist traps), and the guide was super friendly and knowledgeable, ensuring we would have the best time during this tour. I highly recommend this to anyone wants to learn about Italy, and have amazing food!

My wife and our teenage son took part in this tour and had a wonderful time. Our tour guide Nicole was very knowledgeable and helpful. We had the extra bonus of being the only ones on the tour this day! So it was a fantastic small group experience. Highly recommend this tour, especially if you are staying near, or having easy access to, the Prati neighborhood.
