In 1985, RMS Titanic was found, and in 1987 a second expedition took place. The team spent 44 days at sea and did 32 dives to the Titanic. This museum was one of the main reasons that we wanted to go to Pigeon Forge. One of my husbands favorite historical events is the Titanic, and he was hoping to learn some new information that he hadn't already known. It was great! Most of the information is the "well known" history of the ship, but I loved how they had 2 different tours going--one for adults, and one for children. We have a 9 & 7 year old who didn't know much about the Titanic, yet they walked away with so much information that they could handle at their ages. It is expensive, this isn't a cheap experience, but I believe that it is worth it. It is self guided, take your time, do not feel rushed by others around you. There is so much information to take it, there are so many different audio reels to listen to, and artifacts to look at. We stayed here about 2-3 hours, and I feel like we could have spent more time, but our boys were beginning to get a little restless. Touch the water!! You will understand what I mean when you get there, but this really makes an impression. I am also a visual learner, so being able to "see, and feel" makes the world of difference. The gift shop is a little pricey, I wasn't one for it, but my husband walked away with a good number of items. They also have penny machines. They cost $.51 and there are 10 all together. They are all different. The gift shop is more than willing to give you change too without hesitation.Drove 2 hours to check this out and wasn’t disappointed so many interesting facts and exhibits and so close to so many other adventures in the area, would recommend for all ages

It was well done and gives deep respect to the people who died. As you enter you are given a boarding pass/ticket…with an identity of an actual passenger….very moving experience.
