He took us into streets and alleys that we would have never known ourselves, nor venture, explained certain quirks of the Japanese and their lifestyles. And Andy always made sure we were ok with the pace, checked in if anyone needs a bathroom break, etc. Highly recommend to everyone, even if you think you are seasoned traveller!Thoroughly enjoyed Andy’s tour of his local neighbourhood in West Tokyo and learned so much about what it’s like to raise a family there. Thoroughly enjoyed Andy’s tour of his local neighbourhood in West Tokyo and learned so much about what it’s like to raise a family there. The tour was a great mix of cycling along back streets and laneways, and some walking. Groups are limited in size - we had 5 people. Streets were narrow and crowded, which made for a great atmosphere - but don’t go if you’re not comfortable on a bike!
