Overview
Whiskey Belvedere is a unique experience, as it will offer you the possibility of sharing a day with friends in an authentic way, mixing nature and adventure. You will taste three whiskeys associated with the environment visited: mountain, peat and sea. You will visit a ranch of ancient inhabitants of Tierra del Fuego. In addition, you will enjoy the adventure amid anecdotes and native gastronomy, in the heat of an exclusive restaurant in Ushuaia.

What to expect
Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Kaitek Viajes, Gdor. Paz 368, V9410BAH Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego, Argentina
We depart from the Kaitek Viajes office to the different hotels to pick up our passengers. Then we will head towards the point of our first descent.
Duration: 45 minutes
Stop At: Las Cotorras, RN3 km 3025, V9410 Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego, Argentina
Our first descent will be to taste a whiskey associated with peat, which we will do while delighting in the beauties of one of the largest peat bogs in the world. To do this, we will descend and have a tasting by the Ushuaia Whiskey Club team, in the Whiskey Bar, inside the Villa La Cotorras Winter Center.
At this time we will take the opportunity to learn about the properties of whiskey, tasting it while we contemplate the peat bog and all the natural surroundings.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Paso Garibaldi, RN3, Tierra del Fuego, Argentina
We held our second tasting here, of a mountain whiskey, high altitude, with an introductory seminar, and wonderful views of the Escondido and Fagnano lakes.
Then we will descend National Route 3, and in the middle of the road, off road, we will descend into a waterfall to taste again with water from the waterfall, which will open the flavors by adding pure water to the whiskey. It is an exclusive and unique experience at the end of the world.

Stop At: Cami Lake, Tierra del Fuego Province, Argentina
On our third descent, we will do a marine whiskey tasting, with a seminar explaining it. The tasting will be much more enjoyed by doing it on the shore of Lake Fagnano, with beautiful views, and the necessary infrastructure to have the best time. Here we will take the opportunity to have a snack in the heat of the lenga embers.
At the Estancia La Carmen facilities, we will learn first-hand the history of a pioneer family from Tierra del Fuego, as well as delight ourselves with the rich history of a museum of Fuegian pioneers.
Finally, we can walk to the shore of Lake Fagnano, take photos from one of the docks of the site, and relax in the beautiful natural space of the place.

At the end we will go to our refuge to enjoy a delicious dinner on the grill, with drinks, salads, dessert and coffee. Previously, they will be able to use the restrooms and enjoy Lake Fagnano, and all the facilities. The place invites us to relax and give a beautiful closure to the day.

This was great fun. Driver, guide, and fellow passengers made the trip. A rigorous ride with multiple stops and tastings. The grilled steaks and chorizo were a terrific touch. We bought a bottle along the way adding to the experience.

After wondering what to do during our layover in Ushuaia before our excursion to Antarctica, we thought we might as well drink. With no expectations other than trying whiskeys, we quickly realized that this excursion would be so much more. What we didn’t know when we booked this tour was that our guides would take us off the beaten path to places where we could talk culture, see the amazing views of Tierra del Fuego, and of course drink good whiskey. After seeing so many breathtaking sites, we were treated to a homestyle asado meal in Fagnano lake and enjoyed the company of our guides. This was one of the best ways to enjoy an afternoon in Ushuaia and surrounding areas without chartering a large tour bus or having to rent a car. We drank and ate heartily and sincerely enjoyed the company of our Argentinian host.Melinda_V

This was a truly unique experience. I was able to learn about the history of Tierra del Fuego while sampling whiskey. The evening before the tour, I was contacted and given a pick up time. The guide arrived right on schedule. The group was small and we traveled in a 4x4. The ride was very comfortable and the guide had a headset/mic connected to the radio that made hearing him during the ride extremely easy. On one of my favorite stops, we took some of the fresh water tumbling down a waterfall and added it to our whiskey. As the guide explained, adding a few drops of water allowed the whiskey to "open up" and we could taste the difference before and after adding the water. Another stop let us learn about a local family's history with the area. They had a small museum on site describing their journey and way of life. It was full of personal antidotes and fun stories. Plus, one of the family members was there and available for us to ask questions. The property was beautiful and we had time to wander around. Our last stop was dinner at a local restaurant right on the water. The views and food were amazing. Between the small group tour, the whiskey, and the food, it was definitely worth the money. I'd not only recommend this tour to friends, I'd probably take it again if I'm ever in the area.
