Our guide was inexperienced and basically walked us from site to site, recited a brief summary of the site, and shared no general history of the city. We could have done the same with a map from the Tourist Information Bureau. Basically silence between sites. We requested an English speaking guide and I would rate her English at average or below. Very nice lady but no passion or enthusiasm for what she was sharing. While our guide was pleasant the tour was, at best, disappointing. . Very little (or no )information was given about the historical sites. The primary source of information was the plaques we stopped to read in front. In short, we felt there was no real benefit from this ( expensive) tour.
