My wife and I are very big fans of Gaelic/traditional music. After visiting many Galway pubs for the music, some great, some not so, this event was recommended to us. And boy are we glad we went. It is at first off-putting due to the huge crowd of tour busses. But as we settled into the evening, it was incredibly entertaining. The musicians and the dancers were as good as anything we had ever seen (or better). The 2+hour performance was fast paced and over before we wanted it to be. If you like Irish music and dance or would like to see it for the first time, do yourself a big favor and go.If you like Irish music and traditional dance, this is a must-see. The musicians are breathtaking in their talent, and the dancers are among the best in the world. I will definitely see the show again the next time I'm in Galway. (Sadly, they do not perform during the winter months.)

My godmother & I were looking to book in on the last sunday of september but we were told the last show would be Thursday 26th Sept - thankfully I was able to get time off work & we were able to get tickets that day. The show was amazing for both our first Trad on the prom experience. The musical instruments, singing & dancing were amazing. Half the time I had to remember to shut my mouth as I was in total awe of the perfomances. The faheys orginate from Ballinakill where my own mum came from so it was great to put faces &talents to the names she often told me of. I looking forward to going to it again next year. From the introductory welcome to the finale dance, the show is wholly enjoyable. The dancing is high energy and the musicians are very talented.
