I’ve always wanted to tour Africa, but I did not know where to begin. I found Bilson though Viator and I was just blown away. His professionalism, knowledge, patience, and great work ethic helped make our trip to Kumasi effortless and life changing. We fly into Kumasi from Accra and were picked up from the airport. From there we went to Adanwomase and learned about kente cloth and how the cocoa bean is harvested and made into chocolate. After that, we were dressed for the traditional naming ceremony. We felt like royalty and were treated exceptionally well by the village. After the ceremony, we went for a traditional Ghanaian lunch and visited the cultural center. Lastly, we toured the Central Market and Bilson helped us negotiate great prices. I fell in love with the artwork and crafts. Bilson went above and beyond to ensure that my son and I had an amazing experience. I would highly recommend him for any tours in Kumasi. He was exceptional.Bilson was an awesome guide! Bilson was an awesome guide! This was my 3rd time to Ghana, and as an African Diasporian I felt welcomed and acknowledged in a different way since the year of return festivities. This tour made a very special connection for me by officially having my Ghanaian naming ceremony. Bilson and the village elders/chiefs did not treat this a just a tour but really communicated and honored the significance, importance, and history of the naming ceremony. There was a mistake with our names, but Bilson quickly fixed it, made sure that everything was correct and that we were pleased. I will be bringing more people to have this experience and booking with Bilson in the future. Thanks ! Good experience with bilson ;) Museum, Guide about Cocoa and Kente print was amazing. I’m looking forward to do it again !!

I can't thank Bilson enough for his time and patience. He was even willing to do a 10 hour trip to get me to ensure I made it to the tour. I made the journey to meet him and he was the most sweetest & knowledgeable soul I've ever met. Truly enjoyed the history of Kente and participating in weaving. The naming ceremony was indescribable. I've never experienced anything like it and it took EVERYTHING in me to not fall apart. I'm bringing my kids next year. They have to experience this.
