We had a four days/3 nights trek with Krishna and it was definitely one of the highlights of our trip in Myanmar! Krishna knows the area and its people very well and was able to answer to all of our (many, many) questions concerning the history, local living, natural landscape and villages around. He is passionate about being a guide, has a warm smile, is very caring and very well informed. Our chef, Te, was also amazing and prepared for us great meals and had always a humble and warmhearted smile. We felt very comfortable with Krishna from the beginning, had very interesting conversations and felt like having a local friend to explore together the beauties of Myanmar during the trek. I highly recommend it!!My boyfriend and I opted for a two day trek from Kalaw to Inle Lake with Krishna. We didn't really know what to expect, but ended up being blown away. My boyfriend and I opted for a two day trek from Kalaw to Inle Lake with Krishna. We didn't really know what to expect, but ended up being blown away. Krishna talked us through the trek the day prior to setting off and arranged to have our heavier luggage sent ahead. He picked us up in a nice van at our hotel, and we started our journey. As we walked, Krishna proved very knowledgable about the surrounding vegetation, land, and people. Him and his brother were great to talk to and we enjoyed their company. Lunch, snacks, and water were provided along the way. They were amazing. Lunch was a fantastic spread at the perfect time of day to take a break. We arrived in our village for the night in time to settle in, refresh, and catch the sunset. Krishna brought us to a cliff overlooking the valley. It was like stepping back in time watching everyone bring home their oxen from a days work. We retired for dinner and again the food was fantastic. More than enough food of all different varieties and dessert. Many kudos to the chef. We had an incredibly comfortable nights sleep with warm blankets. We woke up refreshed and enjoyed an amazing breakfast before setting off. The walk itself was beautiful. Farmland, rice paddies, rocky hills, and easy walking with good company. We finished the trek with lunch a boat ride, after which Krishna helped us find our hotel. I highly recommend booking this trip. Very professional, everything was taken care of, and most importantly we had a great time. Book with Krishna.
