Car and driver were both good and we were taken right to the top of the hill. the fact that it was the mistiest morning of the year was not the ride company's fault. However, post tiger hill the company diverted from plan without prior information. While booking its clearly mentioned that Ghoom monastery and Batasia Loop would also be shown after Tiger hill. But both the driver and the tour company confirmed that since there is traffic problem and ghoom was long way off they show Japanese monastery and peace pagoda instead. On being told that the package details and the price includes both Ghoom and Batasia loop, they refused to accommodate and said the website has not been updated and they wont go. Japanese monastery and peace pagoda are very near to Darjeeling and next to each other. This makes it easier for the drivers to save time and for the tour company to pocket the money. But the tourist is duped since they cant go to the places promised and advertised. This tour is a ripoff, more a bait and switch program, avoid. There are many respectable ride providers available in the town. This is perfect to visit Darjeeling Tiger Hil because lightly Rain,& clear natural view you can see.
