The temple pond has a spring which gives out fresh water regularly, which Balinese Hindus consider to be holy or amritha. In the Temple you can see how Balinese people doing a holy blessing.

Wow! What a day! This was booked for my husband and I as a honeymoon present from my sister so we weren’t sure what to expect. As soon as Adi arrived at reception we knew we would be in great hands. We were picked up at 9am and first taken to the rice terrace / swing. Such a cool place with amaz...
Wow! What a day! This was booked for my husband and I as a honeymoon present from my sister so we weren’t sure what to expect. As soon as Adi arrived at reception we knew we would be in great hands. We were picked up at 9am and first taken to the rice terrace / swing. Such a cool place with amazing views . So many photo opportunities… Next was the temple where we took part in the optional purification ritual which was a once in a lifetime experience! Adi was happy to take pictures and videos for us and nothing was too much trouble for him. He’d even go back and have the car ready with air con so we were nice and cool again the moment we go back inside . He is an expert on local knowledge and told us so many things about not just the actual places we visited but loads of places en route! He recommended the best restaurant ‘TebaSari ‘and we were not disappointed. After a beautiful lunch again with unbelievable views , we were driven to the waterfall for some more pictures - Adi explained there were a lot of stairs so we could either stay at the top or take the walk- we walked down and again Adi was pro photographer - he really is the perfect guide, just wants you to have the best day and absolutely nothing is too much trouble for him- he encourages you do everything at your own pace and never rushes you. Lastly we went to the forest for a walk through the amazing sacred monkey sanctuary - monkeys freely roaming around - never forced to do anything or ‘perform’ , just live their natural lives , cruelty free! We needed to be back at the hotel for a booking we had made and Adi made sure to get us back in time for that… again never a problem for Adi! The tour took most of the day- very good value and we felt we squeezed so much in but without ever feeling rushed . We cannot thank Adi enough- we made us feel like VIPs the entire day. We loved chatting to him about his life and family in Bali and learning about the culture here. Amazing experience! We saw all of Ubud’s beautiful landmarks! We had a great time with Juli, who also took amazing photos of us and told us about every site visited. Definitely recommend, a must-do in Ubud

The tour guide Adhi, was warm and welcoming and really knew a lot about Bali and offered good insight in to the culture and the way of life here.
