There are four elements to this tour. The Cultural Centre - Park management decrees that this must be visited. The need some professional help with the displays. Interesting but amateurish. Sacred sites, stories and rock art. This part was okay. Sunset when Uluṟu changes colours as the sun sets. Well worth seeing but cloud cover made for a dud on this visit. BBQ dinner - expensive at half the price even allowing for the exclusive location.Dylan & Kev took us on this tour, very informative with stories from the indigenous people and great to tour all around Uluru and walk to the water hole.

Experiencing Uluṟu was our aim. As we had no car this was the best we could do. Great but it was summer so a bit hot. I’m not a fan of big bus tours. Time restraints and large numbers don’t make for a rewarding experience. Disappointed with the sunset and although drinks and yummy snakes were provided there was nowhere to sit and more importantly not even a paper plate provided.Uluru at sunset is a spectacular event...the changing colours are amazing!. Uluru at sunset is a spectacular event...the changing colours are amazing!. This tour offers a great variety... an up close look at Uluru, a stop at the Cultural Centre and it's local artist galleries, a slow bus drive around part of the base with an informative commentary, an easy, accessible walk into the Mutitjulu Waterhole, then followed by the sunset canapes and drinks at Uluru's sunset viewing point. All this was done at a reasonable pace and we never felt over-rushed or hurried along too quickly. Our guides (Grace & ???) were both very professional and knowledgeable and were prepared to spend extra time answering any questions anyone had. We added the optional BBQ dinner which actually was much, much better than we expected...beautifully presented sit-down meal, set up near the base of Uluru with a great, well-cooked assortment of meats, salads and a lovely dessert to finish it all off. The drinks were free flowing and it was a nice way to share some of your holiday experiences with fellow travelers. At the end of the evening, one of the guides also did a short astronomical talk about the night sky and what is visible with the naked eye away from all the city's lights. As an added bonus, we had an almost full moon lighting up Uluru - Mother Nature's little extra! This tour was amazing, with Jessie and Dylan being so informative and friendly, helping to bring the stories of Uluru alive to us. This tour really helped us to understand Uluru better, as it included the trip to the Cultural Centre. A must go trip in Uluru!
